Montgomery County woman beaten, robbed by former housekeeper

SPRING, Texas—A Montgomery County woman was beaten and robbed by a former housekeeper and accomplice inside her home Wednesday morning, according to police.
Around 10 a.m., Mary Cashdollar answered a knock on her door at the 400 block of Pine Edge in the Champion Lake subdivision to find a woman she recognized as a former housekeeper. The housekeeper engaged her in conversation about whether there was any work for her.
A second, male suspect and the housekeeper then forced their way into the residence and assaulted the victim, wrapping a vacuum cleaner cord around her neck and tying her up, according to patrol deputies. The suspects stole weapons and jewelry from the house before fleeing.
The victim was found　by deputies　around 11:30 a.m. and sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.
"I just caution the viewers out there to use extreme caution with anybody these days. Unless you really truly know who it is, don’t allow them access to your home," said Cashdollar’s husband Chuck.
Investigators have issued a warrant for the female suspect, Deedra Michelle Grubbs, 38. She was not in custody Thursday morning and is wanted as a person of interest in two other criminal cases.

Spring home invasion suspects accused of East Texas triple shooting

The Shelby County sheriff said Bobbie Grubbs shot three housekeepers at the Country Inn Motel in Joaquin Friday morning. Martha Soceredoi, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to KLSA in Shreveport. The other two victims, a man and woman, were rushed to area hospitals. They are expected to survive.

The couple was staying at the motel and investigators believe robbery was the motive for the shootings.

The Grubbs were also wanted in connection with a Montgomery County home invasion.

Investigators say they beat Mary Cashdollar in her Spring home Wednesday morning. The robbers wrapped a vacuum cleaner cord around Cashdollar’s neck and tied her up before fleeing with weapons and jewelry.

Deedra Grubbs once worked for Cashdollar as a housekeeper.

A Texas couple captured in Montgomery County Friday in connection with a violent crime spree that included triple shooting a Joaquin motel on Friday have now been charged.

42-year-old Bobby Grubbs was wanted in connection with the Friday morning shooting of three employees at the Country Inn Motel in Joaquin. Grubbs, along with wife, Deedra was also wanted in connection with a home invasion and burglary in Montgomery County earlier in the week.

Both were arrested Friday afternoon in Montgomery County, following a short pursuit in one of the shooting victim's vehicles.

Bobby Grubbs has been charged with retaliation in Montgomery County, aggravated robbery in Harris County, and Capital murder in Shelby County. Deedra Grubs has been charged with burglary of a habitation.

Shelby County Sheriff Newton Johnson says Deedra Grubbs was present when the motel when three motel employees, all housekeepers, were shot in the head. One woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She is identified as Martha Soceredoi, 37.

Johnson says two remarkably survived the shooting including Sam Watts, a beloved figure in the town of Joaquin. Deputies say Watts is a long time city employee. Shelby County Sheriff Newton Johnson says Watts is in fair condition at LSUHSC.

An official on the scene says the Grubbs were staying at the motel, and left behind their own vehicle following the shooting. He added that money was missing and it appears that robbery was the motive behind the fatal shooting.

Authorities in Montgomery County responded to a burglary and assault Wednesday, where a woman, who they identified as Deedra Grubbs, knocked on the door of a home where she was previously employed as a housekeeper and began chatting with the homeowner.

Officials say a man then forced his way into the home and both suspects assaulted the homeowner, tied her up and stole weapons and jewelry. Montgomery County authorities have since identified that man as Bobby Grubbs.

Area schools took precautions in wake of Friday's shooting.

Joaquin ISD Superintendent Phil Worsham says the campus, which is less than a half-mile from the motel, was placed on lockdown since shortly after 9:00 a.m. All students remained in their classrooms and all the doors and gates were locked until the all-clear was given and students were let out on time Friday afternoon

Not that it fucking matters but...I wonder how much these douchetard asshole mongrels got from their petty fucking crime spree. I'm not sure but by Texas standards this is punishable by the DP and I hope that's what they get. They took a life and assaulted 3 others for nothing. A drug habit no doubt. Sad what people will do for a few stinking bucks.
