As If We Needed Proof That Pedos Fap To Toddlers & Tiaras

Lori Mathews said that a man posted online that he performed a sex act while looking a the picture of her 9-year-old daughter, Alaska Mathews, 10TV’s Tanisha Mallett reported.

The picture of Alaska Mathews, who was featured on the TLC network show “Toddlers & Tiaras,” was lifted from the show’s Web site.

“It’s gross and it is sick and it’s about a child,” Mathews said.

Mathews said that some people blamed her, claiming she made her daughter a target by allowing her to participate in pageants and in the TLC show, Mallett reported.

“This isn’t about a pageant girl,” Mathews said. “This isn’t about pageants. This is about a child being put on an adult Web site and talked about in an explicit way and it being OK.”

Mathews said that law enforcement officials told her that what the man posted on the adult Web site was not illegal.

Mathews said that she wanted to change that, Mallett reported.

“If there isn’t a law about it, there needs to be one,” Mathews said.

How delusional that mom would publicly present her kid all sexified and then be offended when they're viewed as such.

It's NOT Ok... but at the same time, this is precisely why my husband and I won't put our daughter in pageants (even though she tells me time and again she wants to do "Fashion and dance"). Or dress her like a baby trollop at any other time as well. Those places are gathering grounds for pedo's and you aren't going to convince me otherwise.
This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.

I guess other people can do what they damn well please but I would NEVER dress my girls up like that or teach them to perform in an 'adult' way. I think it's gross. Those children don't LOOK like little kids. I don't like the costumes, the make-up, or the moves. Amazing that the mother is outraged, when she's the one who sexualized the girl!
I can't bear to watch any of those kid pageant shows, I think it's so f**ked up.

Well, what happens in regards a picture in the public domain is outside the law's purview. If someone uses the picture for target practice, you can't stop it. If someone uses a picture to illustrate what's wrong with a style or a nose job or a photographic composition, it's not illegal. If someone wants to fap to a picture of anything--sharks, mountain climbers, eel guts--it's best not mentioned, but it's not illegal. And it's not going to be. Get over yourself.

Oops, well, I just watched the video, and I'll amend my statement a little. The posting of her daughter's picture on the adult website is questionable. I don't really have a problem with it, since the picture was in the public domain, and presumably anybody on that site, as with ours, could post any picture no matter how innocuous. But, I bet if she just asked the administrators, they'd seriously consider removing it.

The second you decide to put your kids in the public eye, you're putting them at risk, even it's just their image.

I have a friend who won't put her kids photos on FB because she knew a guy who photoshopped kids heads on explicit photos. It can happen! These people are delusional!

We put our children in activities such as sports, dance..heck, even cheer so they can learn new skills. Social, athletic, working on a team....WHAT does a pageant teach a girl? Fake teeth, fake hair, makeup makes her special?
I will always believe that pageantry (for kids) is for the adults, it's so the PARENTS can feel special, it's not for their kids - it's for them.

My daughter saw commercials for Toddlers and Tiara's (I've never watched an episode, nor do I plan on it) and she wants to do that. She thinks it looks soo awesome. Of course, she's four and super girly (I have no clue where that came from). I won't put her in it, one because of the creeper factor of some guy faping to her head shots or watching the dance routines w/ a woody. But also because I don't want her to think that's what she needs to be special or pretty. She's naturally beautiful as is. She doesn't need fake teeth, wigs and super short sequined skirts to make an impact on the world. And, I don't want her to feel like she's not enough as she is, especially if she adds on all the stupid extras and looses. Although, TBH, I've seen some of those girls w/o the pageant gear, and mine is so much cuter.

When I was young I thought pageants were cool - dressing up is fun when you're a little girl! I STILL love to play dress up, if I have to wear heels & lipstick suddenly my day got that much better. I get it. Girls like sparkle, we're mostly born that way.
Little girls can be just as perfect as they are in dress up clothes without being judged on their looks.
    So bravo to you, mom!

BTW, Target/Walmart has super reduced prices on costumes at the end of the Halloween season - that's how I bolstered their "Dress-Up Box" each year. My daughter wanted sparkles n' pink, my son wanted to be a super hero daily. ;)

Exactly it's fun to play dress up in glittery sparkly stuff and have mommy paint your nails and toes. Fake teeth, fake hair, fake nails on little girls is trashy in my opinon. If your child needs more makeup then Tammy Faye to be beautiful then you are wasting your money. Not only that it's not like they only wear pagent dresses but some of the outfits are down right trampy. Some of the routines are not cute at all but slutty. No 4 year old should ever try to mimic Lady Gaga's looks or moves. It's just weird and the fact that the mom's think it's okay is just strange to me. You notice a lot of the time's the mom's aren't pretty. So I think you all are right...it's for the mom's not for the girls.

I always went to "Bag Day" at our local thrift store and loaded the bag up with all the fun clothes I could find for $5. Old prom dresses, gawdy outfits, anything that would spark their imaginations. I would not feel bad chopping any of it down to child-size and they had a ton of fun.

These pageants are pedo magnets. Just for a second, think like a pedo. You would go to the shows, fap to every pic you can get your hands on, and when that's not enough, snatch one and keep her for a week in your bedroom. Then you realize you have to kill her.
