Baby Found Malnourished, Diana Dieter & Bill Knapman Arrested On Old Abuse Warrants

PEORIA, Ariz. -- A couple previously accused of child abuse were arrested Wednesday after their baby was found malnourished and dehydrated.

Peoria police received an anonymous tip regarding a couple with an unhealthy baby in their truck's camper in the parking lot of a McDonald's near 83rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

Officers responded to the scene and the 3-month-old boy was taken to a local hospital. Doctors told investigators that the child had a low heart rate, was dehydrated and malnourished, and appeared to be suffering from hypothermia.

Police spokesman Jay Davies said the boy's parents were found to have outstanding felony warrants out of Apache County for child abuse. William John Knapman, 51, and Diana Rosemary Dieter, 21, were taken into custody.

Davies said they were only booked on the outstanding warrants that stem from a 2011 case in which they are accused of abusing their other son, who is now 2-1/2 years old, and is based on the boy's malnourished condition.

The couple's parental rights were severed last June and that boy is currently in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Davies said when the baby is released from the hospital, he'll go into CPS care.

He's 51 she's 21. They hooked up when she was about 19 someone needs to kick this old gezzards ass and smack her side the head. Bet she was looking for a fast way out and he was looking for a young ass, which then ends up with babies that are seriously not wanted.
One thing I'd tell this young woman is to shut it up, get fixed asap. She's had 2 opportunities to get with it but clearly she has no desire in being a mom and by the looks of the both of them they are fucking clueless.

So glad some one had the good sense in calling the popo on them. All it took was one call and baby was out of that shit hole. Some times that is all it takes.

I feel so bad for both those kids. It's a miracle the first one lived, now the second one is saved. I can't believe that geezer and heifer ever had two together. My first thought was it was incest.

I would take a huge bet that he is either related to her or an old family friend. What twenty one year old is going to go with an ugly old fifty one year old without some familiar background. If this is her second child to him, she must have been quite young when he got her.
