Indianapolis resident Andrea Ginther, 44, told police she was driving in Muncie when she saw a woman litter.
According to the case report, Ginther told police she “does not take littering lightly” and decided to confront 23-year-old Mercadies Kirby.
When officers arrived, Ginther was reportedly punching Kirby in the face.
Kirby told arriving officers that Ginther attempted to hit her with her truck, before Ginther allegedly exited the vehicle and approached Kirby in a “hostile” manner.
The officers arrested Ginther on preliminary charges of battery resulting in bodily injury, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct. Kirby was arrested on a preliminary charge of disorderly conduct.
