A Webster mom is accused of being so intoxicated that she never noticed her 5-year-old son swallowing narcotics.

Police said Ashley Christine Greene, 29, was extremely intoxicated at her apartment on South Kobayashi when they found her on Sunday.

Investigators said her 5-year-old son had ingested narcotics to the point of also being intoxicated. The boy was taken to the hospital.

Ashley Christine Greene, 29, has been charged with child endangerment, KPRC reports.

The boy was also intoxicated and was hospitalized. Police did not say what drugs he had ingested.

Greene was allegedly heavily intoxicated when police found her in her apartment. She lives there with the boy.

A Webster mother has been arrested after officers allegedly found her apparently too drunk to prevent her young son from taking narcotics.

Ashley Christine Greene was arrested for endangering a child, according to the Webster Police Department. The boy is reportedly 5 years old.

Police said officers were dispatched April 22 to a home in the 900 block of Kobayashi. When officers arrived they found Greene and her son apparently intoxicated. Police said the officers believed Greene had neglected and endangered her child because of her alleged intoxication and the boy ingested an unknown type of narcotic.
