Three Admit Murdering And Eating Women, Cooking Their Flesh In Meat Pies

Three people accused of killing at least three women in the northeastern Brazilian state of Pernambuco said they ate some of their victims' flesh and also used it to make the empanadas they sold to their neighbors, police said Friday.

The accused, a man and two women, were arrested Wednesday in Garanhuns, 234 kilometers (145 miles) from Recife, the state capital, and said they belonged to a sect that received orders from a "voice" to do away with women they considered evil.

The suspects confessed to the homicides, cannibalism and grisly rituals during police interrogations, some details of which were released at a press conference Friday by the officer leading the investigation, Democrito de Oliveira.

Investigations of the three began last month after Jorge Beltrao Negromonte da Silveira, 51, identified himself as the author of a 2009 book, "Revelations of a Schizophrenic," in which he reveals details of the supposed sect's activities.

Along with Da Silveira, police arrested his wife, Isabel Cristina Oliveira da Silva, and his 25-year-old mistress Bruna Cristina Oliveira da Silva, who lived with the couple.

Also living at their house was a 5-year-old girl, suspected to be the daughter of Jessica, a 17-year-old murdered in 2008 in the Recife suburb of Olinda.

My Great Grandma was from Texas & she made it regularly. It's basically cow tail because it's not like we have a lot of oxen running around in America. ;) I can't remember eating it but I'm sure I did.

I suppose the defining factor here is I don't force it on anyone. I ate squirrel because my grandad offered it, I eat tongue because it's good in tacos & I NEVER expect anyone else to eat it with me!!

You people are such sissies. I draw the line at tripas, but I love me some lengua and menudo. And ox tails are not bad eating. When you find the ones with enough meat on them, that is. If you don't buy them right, you end up with nothing but fat in your soup instead of meat.

Anyways, I probably wouldn't try human meat. I think we're too fleshy...if that makes any sense.

I don't have a BIG problem with most of it but the chitlins, tripe and hog maw, all that is part of the digestive system and just seems to be beyond what anybody should want to eat. It all SMELLS absolutely gross during and after cooking, especially chitlins, they smell exactly like what they are, intestines. A little town near us every year in October has a Chitlin Hoedown and cooks tons of the things and people from all over come and eat, the smell travels for miles!!!

ETA just so there is absolutely no misunderstanding the smell that travels for miles is the smell of fried and boiled SHIT.

I made empanadas with cat food once. Yup Cat Food and fed to my husband. I wasn't a total bitch, I used gourmet cat food. That bastard knew better not to eat ANYTHING I made if I he fucked up. SAO PAULO, Brazil –*Police have arrested three people who have confessed to murdering two women, eating parts of their bodies and then using their remains to make meat pies sold to*neighbors, schools and hospitals.
Police were first alerted to 51-year-old Jorge “Sweeney Todd” Negroponte, his wife, Cristina da Silveira, and his mistress, Bruna da Silva, after they used the credit card of a missing woman.
According to reports, a 5-year-old girl living with the suspects showed police where the remains of two missing women, *Alexandra Falcao, 20, and Gisele da Silva, 30,*could be found buried in the backyard of the house.
After the three were picked up by police, they confessed to their crimes. They told police they were part of a cult they created called*”Cartel” that seeks to purify the world and reduce the population. They planned on doing this by killing three people a year.*A spirit helped choose their victims for them, pointing out people who were bad. They would then lure the mark to their home by offering them a job as a nanny.
Negroponte told reporters from behind bars that he was just following the direction being given to him voices in his head, voices that told him that by murdering and eating parts of the*victims, he was purifying their bodies and delivering them to God.…
