CARNEGIE, Pa. -- Two Pittsburgh men have been arrested and a third -- the suspected gunman -- is still at large after a triple-shooting that injured a two-week-old infant, her father, and another man.
Carnegie police said a warrant is out for 19-year-old Rashad Watson, who is wanted on charges that include attempted homicide and aggravated assault. He is said to have ties to the Carrick and Mount Oliver areas.
Also being sought is 18-year-old Tashae Griffin on a charge of retaliation against a witness or victim, police said.
The shooting was reported at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday outside the Carnegie Towers apartment building on Capitol Drive. Police said the victims were sitting in a car in the parking lot when they were shot.
"I heard about 10 shots in rapid order -- bang, bang, bang, bang, bang," neighbor Patrick Catina said. "Basically, I came out the front door of my house, my neighbor came out and said, 'They're killing each other down there,' and I basically went back into my house and shut the door."
Police said Byron Hall, 21, and James Edmonds Jr., 20, both from Hazelwood, are being held on $100,000 bond on charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
"We believe they had some sort of involvement with the shooter," Carnegie Police Chief Jeffrey Harbin said. "We aren't exactly sure at this point what that extent was, but obviously enough extent right now that we feel comfortable charging those individuals."
Police said Watson was upstairs at Carnegie Towers on Saturday afternoon when he received a call and ran outside and met with Hall and Edmonds before opening fire on the victims' car.
Tyler Dorsey, 24, William Bosley, 19, and Bosley's baby daughter were found at the BP gas station on Main Street, where they had driven for help in their shot-up car. They were taken to hospitals and were expected to survive.
Police said Griffin is accused of harassing and threatening a Carnegie Towers security guard about information he gave to investigators. She was among those questioned on the day of the shooting, and she has a child with Edmonds, police said.
Anyone who has a tip on the whereabouts of Watson or Griffin is asked to call Allegheny County police at 412-473-1300 or Carnegie police at 412-276-4245. Anyone who sees them should call 911.
Police said the shooting was recorded on surveillance video at the apartment complex.
