Quick-Acting Dog Mom Rescues Pup From Pool

A dog’s motherly instinct and lifeguard skills kicked in when she spotted her little one struggling in a swimming pool.

The golden retriever quickly plunged into the backyard pool to save her puppy, which was struggling to keep afloat in the water. The mother dog used her snout to help push the pup up on the edge, but failed to push it all the way out.
She then jumped out of the water and grabbed the desperate pup by the scruff and pulled him to safety. She hauled the drenched pup farther to the grass to make sure that he was far from danger.

Although many viewers lauded the dog’s amazing rescue, some critics jeered at the owner’s indifference. They commented that the owner just filmed the rescue instead of helping out. Others, however, defended that the puppy must be being trained to swim.

I'm so glad the owner thought it was funny (I can hear laughing).

    Fuckhead.

Good thing mom was there to save baby dog.

Mommy had it under control. Why would the humans need to step in?

I think the baby dog would have been really scared. I would have stepped in.

Maybe it's because I have a pool like that and am ultra paranoid about animals drowning in it.

Maybe I think of my pet too much like a human, but I don't think I'd be filming and laughing. I would want my mamma dog to know her mamma has her back and would protect her and hers like she does me and mines.
Dear Mommy...I see you smile down there below...are those tears of joy you show? I'm glad you're happy, although you lied...I'd love to be right by your side...but by your choice, I view from above...tell my Grandparents I send my love...it's Beautiful here, is all I can say...your life will go on... without me in your way. Me too. I don't have the heart to see any living creature struggle like that and just sit and laugh. I also think of my dog as a part of the family, of course never forgetting he has animal instincts. But I love him and I too want him to feel secure.

    That mamma dog rocks.

I didn't think much about it until the comment up above. I was too young to remember it(or I wasn't there but a neighbor's dog drowned in my grandparents pool. It was blind but still.
