SHREVEPORT, LA — A 10-month-old boy suffered severe head trauma after his mother allegedly *threw him through an open car window while arguing with the child’s father over money. Police say that on Saturday, 29-year old Carmen Paul was arguing with Felthon Hall while holding their son. Fall was sitting inside a car and claims Paul got so angry that she threw the boy through the open car window in a fit of rage. Hall was able to catch his son, but not before the child hit his head on the car’s metal door frame. It*must have been one hell of a throw because after Hall rushed the boy to the hospital, doctors would find he was suffering from a skull fracture and bleeding on the brain. The baby is currently in the hospital in stable condition while his mother*is in jail. She reportedly walked away from the scene after giving her son the heave-ho, but was picked up later and charged with second-degree cruelty to a juvenile. She’s lucky she didn’t kill the boy, especially since his skull hasn’t even fully developed yet. When my kid was 10-months-old I could make her go to sleep immediately by thumping the soft spot at the front of her head. It was like flicking a damned light switch off. We were both*able to get a good night’s rest, and she eventually stopped walking in circles for no reason. It was a win-win.
