CARLISLE, Pa. - Carlisle police have charged Alexandria Roberson, 26, with arson and other offenses.
She is accused of setting fire early Monday to newspapers and a pillow at the front door of an apartment on the first block of C Street.

When an apartment resident opened the door, the flames came up to the person's knees, police said. That person was able to put out the fire and no one was hurt, they said.

Roberson set the fire because she was upset over a situation with her baby's father, police said.
