Randall Rumfelt Severely Beat Up Handicapped John Pack To Steal His Playboy Magazine

YORK, SC (WBTV) - A York man is facing charges after deputies say he assaulted a handicapped man over a Playboy Magazine.
According to a York County Sheriff's report, deputies were called to a home along Turkey Creek Road on Wednesday evening to the report of an assault.

When they arrived, deputies found 24-year-old John Edward Pack, Junior in the middle of a seizure on the front porch of the home. That's when deputies say they notice injuries on Pack's head and face.

Medical crews were able to get Pack's seizure under control and deputies noticed more injuries to Pack's ribcage, stating that he possibly had a broken rib, a broken eye socket and neck injuries.

When asked what happened, Pack - who is handicapped - told deputies that he was attacked by a man over a Playboy magazine. That man, 42-year-old Randall Keith Rumfelt, lives with Pack's mother, the report states.

According to the report, Pack was at his grandmother's house when Rumfelt called and asked him to come a few houses down to his mother's house. When he got there, Pack told officers that Rumfelt wanted to take the Playboy from him and an argument broke out. Pack told officers that he hit Rumfelt, while defending himself, and Rumfelt attacked him.

Pack's mother was present during the assault, the report states, and said Pack had given her the Playboy and then hit Rumfelt. She told deputies that she "took John's glasses off his face so they would not get broken during the fight."

After the attack, she told deputies that she cleaned Pack's wounds and he went back to his grandmother's house. She was arrested because she didn't call medical personnel to treat Pack's injury and failed to report the incident to Law Enforcement, the report states.

Rumfelt, who deputies say was intoxicated during the incident, was charged with Assault and Battery 2nd Degree.

He said that a drunken Rumfelt wanted the Playboy Magazine he had in his possession, and kicked his ass to get it. But Pack’s mother told police that she witnessed the fight and that Pack handed her the magazine before hitting Rumfelt first. After her son got his ass beat, she says she helped clean his wounds before he walked to his grandmother’s house a few houses away. Rumfelt was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and battery. He’s currently being held under a $10,000 bond. Pack’s mother was also arrested because she didn’t get medical help for Pack and failed to report the incident to police.

The last time I was pulled over by the police, I had a few of those subscription cards in my pocket. I don't remember if they were from playboy or a dirtier mag, probably a mix. I just remember using the bathroom at a friend's house and they were right there so I peeked and ah ha- send some unsuspecting peeps some skin mags.........the cop asked me if I had anything on me. I knew I didn't have anything illegal and was nervous and so I started reaching into my coat pockets and placing shit on the hood of my car when I seen them and thought, fuckshit. LMAO
