POLK COUNTY, Fla. -
Polk County sheriff's deputies arrested a 44-year-old mobile video game business owner they say committed sex acts on multiple children, one of which in his business van.

Leonard Richard Filipkowski was charged with nine counts of lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under 16 and 11 counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition in the presence of a child, according to a release.

Deputies said Filipkowski, the owner of local franchise "Games 2 U", told them he performed sex acts in the van on one victim, who was 13-years-old at the time. Filipkowski told deputies he gave alcohol and molested the boy, who moved out of state and started to go to counseling as a result of the abuse, according to a release.
He also told deputies he performed sex acts at his home on another 13-year-old boy who worked occasionally in the Games 2 U van.

"This suspect, Leonard Filipkowski, is our worst nightmare. He has no criminal record, no history of abusing children, and a business that caters to children. His van is a predator's paradise," said Sheriff Grady Judd. "We are asking parents to talk to their children and let us know as soon as possible if there are any more children out there who have been victimized by this predator."
The "Games 2 U" van travels throughout Central Florida booking events such as birthday parties, children’s events, and church and school functions.

Lakeland, FL - Leonard Richard Filipkowski, 44, the owner of a mobile game arcade confessed to molesting a then-13-year-old boy in his arcade-van in 2010, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release issued Tuesday. Filipkowski reportedly traveled throughout Central Florida to ‘entertain kids at birthday parties, children’s events and church and school functions.’ His 24-foot-long van reportedly includes flat-screen televisions connected to Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii gaming systems. Investigators became interested in Filipkowski after getting a report from an out-of-state social-service agency about alleged sexual abuse of the boy. The boy – who had moved out of Florida – later identified Filipkowski and detailed the abuse he received from him in counseling. As a consequence of the investigation, Filipkowskiwho confessed to giving alcohol to the boy and then molesting him in his “Games-2-U” van. Filipkowski also admitted performing sex acts on another boy – who was 13 or 14 at the time – about three years ago in his home. That boy worked for Filipkowski in his Games-2-U van at the time. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd called Filipkowski “our worst nightmare.” “His van is a predator’s paradise,” Judd added. In total, Filipkowski faces nine counts of lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under 16 years of age and 11 counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition in the presence of a child. He is being held without bond in the Polk County Jail. Authorities confiscated his van after his arrest Tuesday.
