Not Lynn... just some andom hookery looking chickhttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1385821.htmlShelley Lynn, a former prostitute and employee of the Las Vegas Chicken Ranch brothel, has claimed in a federal court complaint that McDonald's played a role in her becoming a sex worker, the Consumerist reports.
Lynn is suing McDonald's along with her ex-husband and his company Ivernia, which owned the local McDonald's franchise where Lynn was employed as a cashier 20 years ago, according to the complaint obtained by Courthouse News Service.
Handley "emotionally and psychologically" coerced Lynn into prostitution in part because McDonald's paid her minimum wage, offered a poor health care plans and no benefits and had no system for filing grievances against employers who abused their power, according to the complaint. All of these factors allowed Handley, her employer when the two began dating, to unjustly terminate her employment and browbeat her into sex work, Lynn claims.

Lynn's ordeal occurred over two decades ago, but economic forces continue to plunge women into sex-related work today. MSNBC reported that employers across the adult entertainment industry have seen an influx of applicants from young women who say they turned to stripping or dancing because they couldn't find a job in the field for which they were educated.
“You’re seeing a lot more beautiful women who are eligible to do so many other things,” Gus Poulos, general manager of New York City’s Sin City gentleman’s club, told reporters.

On the other hand, strippers in North Dakota have benefitted in areas where the local economy is strong, with some claiming they can make up to $3,000 per night in tips dancing for local oil rig workers.
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.1052277The trouble began in 1982 when Handley hired her to work at the counter in Arroyo Grande, California. The two began dating in 1985, but things got rocky when she lost her job.
Lynn says that Handley, who still runs the franchise, forced her termination to make her more vulnerable to his demands.

Lynn, who was down on her luck, said Handley lied when he said help her fulfill her dreams of working as a Las Vegas dancer.
He bought her a home in Vegas to live in, but then told her she’d have to get a job as a prostitute in one of the legal brothels to pay for it.
“Handley then began pressuring Lynn on an almost daily basis, arguing . . . it was no big deal to engage in sex to make money, that she would lose her home and everything she had, which was true,” according to the complaint.
Lynn said she took a job at the Chicken Ranch in Nevada, where she became a “top booker,” required to sleep with up to 12 men in a single night.
Lynn and Handley wed in 1988, but soon divorced.
She says Handley should never have been allowed to open his franchise and that McDonald's “failed to conduct a due diligence into the moral character of Handley when it sold franchises to him.”
She also says McDonald's “failed to properly supervise and train Handley,” who she accuses of running his pimping operations out of the McDonald's franchises he owned, according to the complaint.
