27-year-old Kenndell Kennedy and 31-year-old Christopher Arden are charged with four counts of child abuse and neglect. Kennedy is also charged with one count of assault on a viable fetus, since she is currently pregnant.

The children are ages nine, seven, two and 10 months.

Officers say they first went to the home after receiving a complaint that Kennedy allowed her children to run outside naked in cold weather and without supervision.

Officers contacted the Department of Children's Services after Kennedy denied them access to the inside of the home.

When DCS and police officers later entered, they discovered the building was falling apart and the home was filled with trash, animal feces, broken glass and used diapers.

The children were sleeping on an uncovered mattress in a room covered with trash. The toilet did not work and the family was going to the bathroom in a plastic container. The food in the refrigerator was rotten.

A codes inspection officer condemned the home, and DCS removed the children and placed them with other family members.

But they didn't finds drugs and paraphernalia carelessly scattered all over the house?

    I am shocked.

The "abuse of a viable fetus" charge is awesome! That poor baby isn't even here yet and she's already in trouble for not taking care of it. Maybe this will mean CPS or DCS or whatever will monitor her and take that precious little baby the second she squeezes it out.
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right. Here I am, stuck in the middle again.

I once ate a foot long corn dog at a nude beach. I won't do that again.
