Sure Fire Way To Get Rid Of Bed Bugs! Works Every Time!

An attempt to exterminate bed bugs led to a house fire in the Fountain Square area of Indianapolis Monday.

Crews went to a home in the 900 block of Lexington Avenue at 11:33 a.m. for the fire, Indianapolis Fire Department officials said.

Two men were trying to get the bed bugs out of their home, so they dragged three couches and two chairs into the backyard, IFD officials said. They intentionally set them on fire with a lighter and piece of newspaper, but the fire quickly lit the nearby home on fire.

Although the men tried to put out the fire with a hose, they weren’t successful.

Fuck, if I got bedbugs, I'd be sorely tempted to burn the whole house down, too. These guys are obviously a few beers short of a six pack. Burning the couch and shit isn't going to kill the little bastards that are crawling in the carpet, baseboards, etc. The whole house needs to be heated above a certain temp in order to kill the bedbugs...wait...now that I think about it, they may have inadvertently accomplished the end goal.

The only thing worse than the bugs you can see crawling around during the day are the ones you can't see that are crawling around your bed while you sleep.

As soon as I read this story, I wanted to hunt down a .gif or something of Beavis. "Heh, heh...fire..fire."
