Hot For Teacher: Middle School Teacher Accused Of Being Porn Star

The Oxnard School District will meet Wednesday night, after a middle school teacher was put on administrative leave, accused of appearing in at least one pornographic film.

District officials have not released the teacher's name and they have not terminated her.

They placed her on leave on Monday while they investigate the allegations, Oxnard School District Superintendent Jeff Chancer told KTLA Tuesday.

The investigation began Friday when students approached administrators at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School and told them they had seen a female teacher in a pornographic video.

Administrators tried to verify the students' claims, but couldn't because the school's computers have filters on them that prevent access to sites featuring pornographic material, Chancer said.

So administrators put out a memo to school staff, acknowledging the students' claims, but saying they were only a rumor.

That's when some other teachers came forward and showed administrators the video on a smartphone, allowing them to tentatively confirm that the accused educator -- who teaches science to 7th and 8th-graders at Haydock -- appeared in the X-rated video, Chancer said.

"Maybe it's not a crime as far as the penal code is concerned, but we feel it's a crime as far as moral turpitude is concerned," Chancer said.

A letter was sent home with students at all the middle schools written by Chancer:

"Since the allegation surfaced, the information has spread quickly throughout the district. We are concerned that students may attempt to view or access inappropriate sites and possibly attempt to post links to pornographic material on their Facebook site and other social media sites. We are asking teachers to discourage the children from searching for and/or visiting these inappropriate sites. We ask that you be particularly vigilant over the next few days with respect to the Internet content being accessed by your child on his or her telephone or other Internet-ready devices."

Gerardo Sanchez, a father of a 13-year-old student, said Haydock is a good school. He does not know the teacher and never imagined this kind of an allegation would ever surface in his community.

Poor Mr. Sanchez. It's not the teacher he has to worry about. Being a porn star does not make school an unsafe place. It was OTHER STUDENTS that were viewing the porn.

The school doesn't want the kids to see the teacher in porn and asks parents to carefully monitor them in the next few days. I guess after the hub-bub dies down, they can go back to their non-teacher-involved porn viewing.

It may be a "moral turpitude" issue for a teacher (IMO) but all this posturing is a bit silly.

I strongly feel that teachers have a moral standard to uphold, written or not. Importance of position does not play a factor in my book, but congressmen and presidents have been raked over the coals a lot worse. Positions of public trust have a less expectation of privacy than those that have no authority. I think the school exercised their rights appropriately.

I did some research. Won't say why I think this is her, but you'd have to reference for yourself. I guess this makes her a terrible person, but I personally don't think politicians and most of our moralists would want to be judged by their actions as opposed to their words.

Being a porn star is not illegal, therefore, if she chooses to do porn on her own time, it's no one's business. She has not done anything to harm these children. She teaches them the curriculum the school has set forth. Not how to make a porn. She didn't expect children to view it.

If she is willingly on the widely circulated internet that anyone can have access to, can the school, parents and the kids she teaches get past that? Hell no. If my kid came to me and said he/she had a teacher who was a porn star, I'd ask what the hell they were doing watching porn at the age of a middle schooler. If the administration of my kids' school did NOT check out and verify or debunk situations that parents (not necessarily me) were going to make a fuss about, I would be disappointed. It doesn't matter if it's porn star, wacko religious ideas, dealing drugs, illegal Girl Scout cookie sales... whatever. If it's going to cause a "fuss", the administration should check it out and not dismiss it. It IS their job. If they poo-poo things, it may backfire on them, parents, and most importantly - the students.

No Oxnard Parents Show Up To Protest Teacher’s Alleged Hard Core Porn Career

After it was revealed Tuesday that a middle school teacher in Oxnard allegedly dabbled in hard core porn, parents were invited Wednesday evening to a school board meeting to express their thoughts and concerns.

Only … no one really showed up.

Suraya Fadel was at the meeting and said “it was a no show from parents.”

If the administration of my kids' school did NOT check out and verify or debunk situations that parents (not necessarily me) were going to make a fuss about, I would be disappointed. It doesn't matter if it's porn star, wacko religious ideas, dealing drugs, illegal Girl Scout cookie sales... whatever. They were NOT viewing porn for the sake of getting their sexual urges riled up. That's like accusing detectives of being pedophiles while looking at the pictures of child porn they are investigating and slamming them for doing it in a police station.

The administration sent an email to teachers saying the rumors were unfounded. They didn't realize that the school's filters blocked the stuff. Teachers used their phones to show the admins what the kids were yakking about. No one was doing it to get all hot and bothered. Everyone was trying to address an issue the students had brought up. That's part of what administration does.

For those of you blaming the kids for viewing and the parents for letting them, you must not have been around middle schoolers. they have a keen sense of what's going on. Even if they never view it, they will get the whole story over and over behind the cafeteria. Those fuckers talk!
You expect those kids to take her seriously as a position of authority? What might wind happening is they might end up idolizing her as a porn star and guess what, it's no biggie, my teacher did it. come 18, the decision will be that much easier to be a pornstar, OR YOUNGER.
