WASHINGTON COUNTY, Alabama --
Authorities in Washington County are investigating a case of child abuse. Sheriff Richard Stringer says a father and mother of an eight month old are facing numerous charges. 33-year-old James Ryan Booth and 21-year-old Julie Ann Reed Guy are accused of sexually abusing their baby daughter.

They are both charged with rape, sodomy, sexual abuse, chemical endangerment of a child, manufacturing a controlled substance and possession.

Sheriff Stringer says the child is now in custody of the Department of Human Resources but family members may be able to take custody of her in the future.

Booth and Guy may have a bond hearing sometime Thursday afternoon. They are both being held in the Washington County Jail.

WAGARVILLE, Alabama -- A 31-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were charged today with sexually abusing 2 children and manufacturing methamphetamine in Washington County, authorities said.

James Ryan Booth and Julie Reed Guy were each charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and 2 counts each of rape, sodomy, child sexual abuse and chemical endangerment of a child, sheriff’s Chief Deputy Ferrell Grimes said.

The couple, who Grimes said were living together but not married, will have a bail hearing Friday morning at the Washington County Courthouse in Chatom. Meanwhile, both were held at the Washington County Jail, Grimes said.

The investigation of the couple was primarily intended to look into the sex abuse allegations, Grimes said. He said that deputies executed a search warrant at their home in the Wagarville area of northeast Washington County.

Besides confirming the allegations of sexual abuse against 2 children, deputies also found components of a meth lab in the home, as well as the drug itself, Grimes said.

Nasty fucks. I mean I have heard that doing meth makes you horny but...this is a little much. I mean was mom's junk so fucked off Daddy couldn't get his jollies any more? She should be shot twice in the face. Once for letting her child be brought up in a fucking meth lab for a house. And shot again for letting Daddy diddle the baby girl and then obviously joining in or condoning his actions by not shooting him in his face for what he was doing. Meth heads man. Just so fucking...kill them please?

This is so fucking disgusting! i mean if you are so fucked up that you let your man fuck with your kids... there is no hope, i agree with valasca tie the two of them up and shoot them... there is no hope... Meth does fuck people up and is some messed up shit, but to go this far you gotta have some evil already brewing in you! this is too vile to simply blame on meth.

A Washington County couple has been indicted in a shocking case of child sex abuse out of Wagarville.

James Ryan Booth, 33, and Julie Ann Guy, 21, were arrested in February after authorities allegedly found video of incest and abuse.

“Looking at pictures, they seem like a normal family; but you never know what goes on behind closed doors,” said Washington Co. Chief Deputy Ferrel Grimes.

Investigators said they discovered some 20 videos in their mobile home in Wagarville.

Deputies said it shows Booth and Guy sexually abusing their 8-month old daughter and a 4-year old girl.

Authorities said Guy later admitted to also abusing and having sex with her 5-year-old son on numerous occasions.

A grand jury indicted Booth on 18 charges in the case while Guy faces 19.

Charges for each include four counts of producing porn with a minor, multiple counts of sex abuse of a child, sodomy and rape first-degree, incest, and a slew of drug charges.

“I didn't see all the videos; because to be honest with you, I got sick watching them. But what I understand, there were numerous videos of one child,” said Chief Deputy Grimes.
