http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/01/...-prostitution/BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (STMW) – A west suburban man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly forcing a minor into prostitution.
The FBI and Bolingbrook police arrested McKenzie “Casino” Carson, 39, of the 200 block of Campbell Drive in Bolingbrook early Tuesday at his home without incident, according to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice. He was charged in a federal criminal complaint filed last week with one count of sexual trafficking of children by force, fraud or coercion.
Carson has been actively recruiting young women, including girls under the age of 18, to work for him as prostitutes in and around the Chicago area since 2010, according to the complaint. He advertised their services over the Internet and used cell phones to schedule and book “dates” for the girls.
He is believed to have employed others to assist him in running the prostitution operation, driving the girls to motels, hotels and other locations to meet customers, the release said.
It is alleged that Carson used violence and threats of violence, including sexual assault, to force the women and girls to work for him, the release said. He allegedly raped a 17-year-old girl and forced her to perform oral sex the first time they met. He then sent her out that same night to engage in prostitution.
Another woman, who was 20 at the time, claimed she was beaten and raped by Carson numerous times, including after she told him she no longer wanted to work for him, the release said.
Carson is being held without bond pending a Friday court appearance, the release said.
http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/9...stitution.htmlA cash-strapped teenage girl fell under the control of a west suburban pimp who forced her to perform sex acts for more than three months until her mother filed a missing persons report and later rescued her, according to the FBI.
The FBI searched Carson’s vehicle and recovered a computer that contained photos of the 17-year-old girl and other women in a folder with the heading “hoes,” the affidavit said.
In November 2009, the girl told an unidentified man at her apartment complex that she was having financial problems, the affidavit said.
The man took the teen to a Motel 6 in Joliet where she met Carson, the affidavit said. When she told Carson she was just 17, he allegedly said, “That don’t matter.”
Carson allegedly raped the teenager in a motel room and forced her to start working for him as a prostitute, according to the FBI. Carson allegedly threatened to kill her if she didn’t keep working for him, the FBI said.
Toward the end of February 2010, the girl’s mother filed a missing persons report for her with the police, the FBI said.
The girl found out about it and told Carson, who initially took a battery from her cell phone and left her in a motel room without a way to contact anyone or leave, according to the FBI.
Later, he said he would let her go as long as she gave him all the money she made performing sex acts, which she did, the FBI said. Carson allegedly returned the phone to her, and she called her mother, who picked her up at the motel.
Police have identified at least five other women who had worked for Carson as prostitutes, according to the FBI.
