    Man facing multiple charges in assaults on two children

    A Pickens man is in jail on multiple sex charges after police said he assaulted two children.

    Travis Clayton John Holland, 27, 118 Robinson Lane, was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of lewd act upon a child, two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor and a probation violation.

    Warrants alleged Holland assaulted two children in or around March 2004. One warrant alleged Holland threatened to kill the child and her family if she reported the abuse.

    A Pickens County Sheriff's Office report said the sexual assault was committed on a 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl and was reported by the children's grandmother.

    Holland was denied bond for the lewd act and CSC charges and is being held at the Pickens County Detention Center.
