A seven-year-old who received a voucher for a boob job on her last birthday has received yet another inappropriate gift from her surgery-obsessed mother: A £7,000 voucher for liposuction.

Little Poppy Burge received the gift in her Christmas stocking after her mother, a 51-year-old plastic surgery addict known as The Human Barbie, decided it would 'come in handy'.

'I put the voucher in her stocking - there's nothing wrong with that,' she said.

'She asks for surgery all the time. She wants to look good and lipo is one of those procedures that will always come in handy.

'I see these vouchers as investing in her future - like saving money for her education.'

Miss Burge, who has spent more than £500,000 on her own surgical enhancements is determined to transform her daughter into a glamour model.

She first made headlines in 2010 when she confessed to teaching her then six-year-old daughter to pole dance. And she has since been in the spotlight numerous times - for all the wrong reasons.

Last year Miss Burge, who lives in a £500,000 four-bedroom home in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, boasted that she gave a £6,000 breast enlargement voucher to her daughter.

She said in an interview with Closer magazine at the time: 'Poppy begged me for a boob job, so I gave her the voucher so she can have it after she's 16, when it's legal.

'If she develops naturally big boobs, she can have something else done with it.'

The voucher was part of a £12,000 'exotic pamper party' that she organised to mark her daughter's birthday.

Miss Burge is more than capable of paying for the lavish gifts thanks to the lucrative business she runs organising plastic surgery and swinging parties and writing erotic novels.

Admitting that her daughters Charlotte, 27, Hannah, 17 and step-daughter Jazzy have already had Botox and are planning further surgery of their own, Miss Burge reveals a worryingly blasé attitude towards surgery.

She celebrated her 51st birthday with £51,000 of surgery including a facelift, bottom implants and liposuction.

She said: 'Some people think it's controversial and I get angry when strangers say I'm a bad mother because I don't think there's any harm in giving her this gift.

'Poppy is a normal kid who is good at sports and loves playing outside. Girls don't want Snow White and Cinderella any more.

'They want to be WAGs and famous like Cheryl Cole and Lady Gaga. I'm just supporting her and making her dreams come true.

She's right... Looks ARE a big part of how our lives pan out. But the stigma is not associated with looking good or wanting to look good, it's with pursuing dangerous means to get there. I see no significant difference between programming your child to want a life of cosmetic surgery and programming them to become a drug addict.

...and I'm not anti-surgery, mind you. I'll want some tooling up, myself, one of these days. But there's a difference between using surgery to enhance and using surgery to create a different person, a la "The Human Barbie".

I would go with poor self image and low self esteem. The media sterotyping is always going to be there but if a woman is secure in who she is, it shouldn't matter. And I agree. Most enhancements or many enhancements makes me think more Frankenstein.

I think some women are more unhappy than others based on their lifestyle. A woman who has no money who never has a chance to do anything for herself, would be thrilled and tickled pink just to have a haircut and new makeup. This woman is what, an owner of some kind of cosmetic surgery place, so she's constantly surrounded by it, wanting more and more and more and now passing this SICKNESS down to her children.

Maybe I'm wrong for saying this, but I don't think it's right for a child to know that mummy has had to have ass and tit implants. That should be something private between her and her husband or whomever she is fucking. She's totally setting this kid up to be a selfish, spoiled little bitch.

I'm not sure it's any different than getting her makeup and high heels, and vouchers for braces and piercings and tats and days at the spa, etc. Here is a woman who does all this stuff, and her daughter knows this. The daughter is naturally influenced by the fact that mom does it and looks good. (Let's face it, to a young girl, mom almost always looks great!) She wants to be like mom. Since her model for womanhood is surgically influenced and obsessed, it stands to reason she thinks it's normal. Well, most moms will go to some effort to appease their daughter's desire to be like her, so they get toy heels, little girl makeup, etc as affordable, available, and/or appropriate. (Nowadays little girls are dressing more and more maturely -- dare I say like little hoochie mamas.) Those of us who can anticipate genetically influenced problems might even set up to rectify them -- like braces for our snaggle teeth, contacts for our vision (and some unnatural color, maybe). Maybe this mom thinks large butts and small breasts (the classic pear shape) runs in the family, so she's going to give her daughter the means to fix it.

That said, yeah, I think it's fucked up to go to that length. She must be rich.

If anything, it's the latter. But, you don't have to stretch far to understand the psychology behind normal cosmetic surgery. Ever done any after-market modifications to your car? Maybe a new paint job or new rims? A flashy grill or overhead lights on a truck? Does it mean you're *unhappy* with the vehicle? Of course not. You simply see room for improvement. Cosmetic surgery isn't a bad investment, necessarily, either. Statistics have proven beyond doubt that attractive people make more money and are generally granted more opportunity.

How much is too much is very relative. In my opinion, it's automatically "too much" if a person ever gets augmented simply because someone else (a boss, husband or wife, etc.) wants them to. It's too much if you're motivated by an addiction, like "The Human Barbie" clearly is. But outside of some nefarious motivation, I don't believe any of us are qualified to say when is too much. It's a question a person can only answer for themselves.

That's because it's bad plastic surgery. Odds are, you've encountered hundreds of women who have been enhanced and you can't tell. That's the quality of good plastic surgery - it's not obvious.

I am not so sure about that, at least not in the boobs. I took a test of whats real and what is fake. It showed me around 25 photos of breasts. I picked all the fake ones but two. I will try to find that site and pass it on.

All the little tucks and nips maybe not, but botox or silicone injections it really shows. Freakishly IMO.

Sure, no way around the fact that people who are generally more attractive get more attention even has been shown to happen in the classrooms. Children who are perceived as "a good looking kid" get more attention from teachers,( study was done and no I don't have a link but remember reading it).
That said, stigma, chmigma, we all have a vain vein in us, I get wanting to look good, have no issue with a bit of help even a lot of help (to each their own) but big issue w/ those promoting it on children, their own children who have no idea and being brought into this way of thinking, shallow, self-obsessive... it's demoralizing.
More so, bothers me so entirely about this, is the fundamental message to this child that something is wrong with her, needs fixing, that as a kid yet untainted (she is now), young and healthy is second to how her body looks at the tender age of 7 fucking years old!

Implants are typically pretty obvious, as the "base" of the breast (where it attaches to the chest) is generally smaller than the breast itself, which is counter-intuitive (for a reason). And don't get me started about the feel of many fake boobies. But breast lifts are often undetectable, as is moderate botox and silicone injections. In my opinion, it typically depends on the difference between enhancement and change. I feel a breast lift is an enhancement while an implant to increase size is a change. I believe botox to correct a particularly stubborn wrinkle is enhancement while botox to eliminate wrinkles is a change. If you stick with enhancements, it'll be a lot less obvious. Like always, moderation is the key.
