On Thursday, James Lee Butrick II, 34, was charged with child abuse resulting in injury and Termirri Ann Butrick, 27, was charged with gross child neglect result in injury in connection to their daughter's injuries.
Deputies said James Butrick struck his daughter in the face, causing damage to her teeth. Temirri Butrick failed to protect the young girl and gave false information to detectives, the news release said.
James Butrick was released Friday from Southern Regional Jail on a $10,000 bond, the news release said. Temirri Butrick was released Friday on a $5,000 bond, the release said.
