James Slack Hasnt Been Seen Since Leaving Concert *found deceased*

    James Slack

BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. -- A 25-year-old man has not been heard from since attending a concert last week on Pittsburgh’s North Shore and is still missing.
Bridgeville police said James Slack II was last seen Dec. 6 during the String Cheese Incident show at Stage AE at 9:30 p.m.
"He (Slack) had been separated from his friend who he came down here with that evening. She tried numerous times to call him throughout the night to figure out a plan to get home," sister Maureen Shields said.
Police said Slack was last heard from at 3 a.m. on Dec. 7 when he called a friend and told her, “I am still partying” and “I don’t know where I’m at." He was said to be highly intoxicated, according to police.
"(His friend) spoke to him later in the night, and he said he was still down here having a great time. That was the last time that anyone heard from him," Shields said.
Slack's family has been saturating social media websites with his picture and posting fliers all over the area trying to find him.
"We are doing everything from canvassing, talking to every single person we meet. Actually, we've had fliers handed out to people at concerts from the band," Slack's uncle, Michael Lowe, said.
Someone called police Saturday night saying they may have seen him that morning. But officers said the lead was too cold.
"When you're out and you're sitting there, look around and take inventory. Pay attention to what's going on because you could be sitting next to my brother. We need him to know that we want him home," Shields said.

Slack missed his niece's birthday Saturday -- something family members said he would never have done. Shields said they're worried, and they're desperate to find him and bring him home.
"It's really not in his character to just disappear. He would have come home," Shields said.
Slack was last seen wearing a green and black hooded sweatshirt, a tie-dyed shirt, black shorts, black tennis shoes and a Pittsburgh Penguins hat.
He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has blond hair and a light beard.

Search For Missing Man Continues; Family To Offer Reward

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh police have taken over the case of a missing Bridgeville man who disappeared after attending a concert on the North Shore.
The family of 25-year-old James Slack has been tirelessly working to find him, and they told Channel 4 Action News that they plan to offer a $1,000 reward for information.
Lt. Dan Herrmann said police officers searched Thursday with dogs along the river banks from the West End Bridge to the 31st Street Bridge and found no sign of Slack.
Bridgeville police said Slack was last seen during the String Cheese Incident show at Stage AE around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 6.
Slack was last seen wearing a green and black hooded sweatshirt, a tie-dyed shirt, black shorts, black tennis shoes and a Pittsburgh Penguins hat. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has blond hair and a light beard.
Anyone who may have information on Slack’s whereabouts is asked to call Pittsburgh police at 412-323-7800. Anonymous calls will be accepted.
Slack's family has been posting pictures of him on social media websites and on fliers all over the city.

"We are doing everything from canvassing, talking to every single person we meet. Actually, we've had fliers handed out to people at concerts from the band," said the man's uncle, Michael Lowe.

Wow, I hope he just got carried away partying and stayed with someone or something. If he was drunk, anything could have happened, from being assaulted to falling in the river. I am reminded of the guy in Europe who was found to have fallen in a river after a night of partying. A big deal was made like there were suspicious circumstances but it ended up that he basically got wasted and fell in on his way home. Sad. Hope this guy comes home safe.

String Cheese Incident concerts are known for having LOTS of drugs. It sounds like he was out partying it up for quite a while. If I had to wager a guess at his point, I'd say he wandered off and he OD'ed or fell in a lake or something like that. I'm not really sensing fowl play on this one.

I also do not suspect chickens were involved. They rarely kill humans. He most likely fell in the water and drowned.

Pittsburgh's North Shore? Is that what they are calling the North Side now? If he went missing there, he is gone for good.

Missing Pa. Man’s Family Turn to Psychics for Help
The relatives of a missing 25-year-old Pennsylvania man said they aren’t entirely certain they believe in psychics — only that they’re willing to use an assortment of means to locate him.
James Slack, of Bridgeville, Pa. was last seen at a String Cheese Incident Concert in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Dec. 6.
“You just explore every option, and anything that can help out is worth it. It’s worth a shot,” Maureen Shields, Slack’s sister, told ABC News’ affiliate WTAE Friday while touring the area where her brother was last seen with the psychics.
A friend told police that Slack was inebriated when, during a 3 a.m. phone conversation on Dec. 7, he explained that he was “still partying” and “I don’t know where I’m at.”
sychic sisters Suzanne Vincent and Jean Mckenzie Vincent said the visions they’ve been having and the responses Slack’s relatives provided to their queries led them to believe that he is dead.
“I kept seeing a vision of railroad tracks,” said one of the Vincents, who, according to their Web site, have been oing psychic profiles and investigations for 25 years.
The Vincents said they had an impression that he was hurt some place and he died from the elements.
In addition to contacting the psychic sisters, Slack’s family has been posting pictures of him on social media and on fliers.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information on Slack’s whereabouts.

Yet know, my master, God omnipotent,
Is mustering in his clouds on our behalf
Armies of pestilence; and they shall strike
Your children yet unborn and unbegot,
That lift your vassal hands against my head
And threat the glory of my precious crown.

Man Who Disappeared After Concert Found Dead
James Slack Last Seen During Stage AE Show On North Shore
PITTSBURGH -- The body of James Slack was found Monday in the Ohio River on the North Shore of Pittsburgh, not far from where the young Bridgeville man disappeared.

Pittsburgh police said a RiverQuest employee spotted the body in the water near the river bank by the Carnegie Science Center. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
Bridgeville police said the 25-year-old Slack was last seen during a String Cheese Incident concert at Stage AE around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 6.
"He (Slack) had been separated from his friend who he came down here with that evening. She tried numerous times to call him throughout the night to figure out a plan to get home," Slack's sister, Maureen, said in December
Police said Slack was last heard from at 3 a.m. on Dec. 7 when he called a friend and told her, "I am still partying," and, "I don't know where I'm at." He was said to be highly intoxicated, according to police.
