Nathan Rawling appeared at Maidstone Crown Court today (July 16) and pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The 35-year-old, who lived in St Gregory’s Crescent at the time of the alleged incident, was given conditional bail.
One of his bail conditions is not to contact any of the prosecution witnesses.
Rawling must also report twice weekly to Maidstone Police Station.
He will next appear at the court for trial, which will be heard by a High Court judge on January 14.
The alleged incident took place on December 1 last year and involved a 31-day-old baby.
