"One day she wouldn't talk when my dad was asking her questions," the girl said. "She got a whooping."
The girl also testified Tuesday in 36th District Court in Detroit about separate occasion when her father, D'Andre Lane, hit her with the same stick and stuffed a pair of her wet underwear under her tongue after she wet the bed. The incident, she said, tore the underside of her tongue and prevented her from eating because "it burned."
The child's testimony was shared during Lane's preliminary examination on felony murder and first-degree child abuse charges in Bianca's death. The girl was last seen Dec. 2. Her body has not been found.

Prosecutors, however, have said there's "considerable evidence" linking Lane to the abuse and murder of his child, including statements he allegedly made to investigators.
Two witnesses testified Tuesday in the hearing that is expected to resume April 27 before Judge Ruth C. Carter.
Lane's daughter said that she last saw her sister awake the night before Bianca disappeared.
That morning, she said. her father carried a silent Bianca to the car. She was dressed in purple pants and covered with an animal print blanket. He strapped Bianca in next to her and the toddler did not move or make a sound, she said.
The girl testified that she had met her sister only four to five days before she went missing, but the two shared a bedroom, and Bianca had always snored.
Detroit Police requested a criminal warrant in December for a suspect not publicly named.
A police source close to the investigation previously told The News that cadaver dogs had searched Lane's home and discovered evidence.
Forensic canine expert Martin Grime, who is contracted under the FBI, testified Tuesday that he brought in his victim recovery dog two days after Bianca went missing. The dog was able to pick up a cadaver scent inside Lane's car, inside the girls' bedroom in Lane's home as well as on the blanket Bianca had been covered with and her car seat.
Grime admitted for defense that the dogs detect only the generic scent of human decomposition. The dogs, he said, cannot determine identity, age, race, gender or the rate of decomposition.

Coast Guard(American one) sat out front almost all day yesterday but nothing that I know of happened
I still think shes going to surface in warmer weather (gross but warmer water emit more gases in the body making them into bouys almost and they surface)

Grime said Morse detected a human decomposition odor in a room where Bianca slept at Lane's house as well as on her blanket and car seat found in Lane's car.

Grime said Morse was able to pick out Lane's car, which was parked among 31 others in a lot. The other cars in the lot did not get a response from the dog.
Grime said his dogs did not detect a decomposition odor on the clothing Lane was wearing the day he was taken into custody, which was the same day Bianca disappeared. He also said that a body starts decomposing immediately after breathing stops.
Testimony in the preliminary examination is expected to resume April 27.

Yeah, the water is always attractive to people who want to quickly dispose of a body. Like the barista up here. She was found under the ice in a lake. It's a wonder the killer didn't dispose of her in the inlet instead. She might never have been found.

Well the building they have on tape of him at right where hes supposed to have been carjacked I could hit with a rock and sling shot from my front yard

On Friday, two witnesses described different stories about when Bianca went missing.
The key prosecution witness told the court it wasn’t something she saw, but something she heard, that set off alarm bells.
Anjali Lyons, Lane’s girlfriend, said she awoke to hear Bianca crying and being disciplined by Lane for wetting the bed. She said he used a stick he had made by wrapping a sponge with duct tape. She said she heard Lane hit Bianca “three or four times.”
Lyons was reluctant to speak in court, stopping several times. But she described Lane as being frustrated and irritated until it all just stopped.
Friend Rico Blackwell said he talked with Lane the morning Bianca went missing, and when Lane stopped his car, no one else was inside.
Investigators also testified Friday that Lane had been at Wayne Community College, near the Detroit River.
More witnesses are due in court before it will be decided if Lane will stand trial.

Testimony Tuesday during Lane’s preliminary hearing centered on a five-hour interview Lane did with police, where he claimed Bianca hit her head when she fell out of bed.
The interview played out in court, and Lane was heard telling police he spanked his daughter with a padded stick, because if he used his hand, it would bruise.
The defense asked the officer if Lane had ever said he was done talking during the five hours of “interrogation.”
The officer said yes, three times. But the defense wanted to know why investigators kept asking questions.
A ruling Thursday will determine is Lane should stand trial on murder and child abuse charges.

On much of the video that was shot from a camera mounted inside the agent's vehicle, Lane appeared frustrated and uncomfortable.
With Lane in the passenger seat, the FBI agent asked Lane to direct him on the path he took the morning of December 2, 2011.
Investigators believe Lane concocted the story about carjackers driving off with the toddler to cover-up her murder.
Lane claims Bianca, whom he refers to as BB, was fine but tired on the morning of December 2 because he kept her up until the early morning hours.
On the video, Lane describes seeing Bianca in the backseat of his car that morning as he headed to her mother's house to pickup some extra clothes for her.
"So then I looked back at BB. I pulled the blanket back a little bit, and she looked up at me. She closed her eyes. She was tired because she was up almost all night," Lane told the agent.
Lane has admitted to hitting Bianca with a small stick to punish her for accidentally going to the bathroom on herself. He told police Bianca later fell off the bed and hit her head on the floor.
Fearing the child may have suffered a serious head injury, Lane told police he wanted to keep her up to check on her and so he kept "popping" Bianca on her buttocks with the stick to keep her awake.
On the video played Thursday, Lane says as he was heading to the home of Bianca's mother, someone in a red car blew their horn at him and signaled for him to pull over because he had a broken tail light.
Lane's claim is that men got out of that red car armed with a gun and drove off with Bianca when they stole his car. The car was located not far away but Bianca has never been found.
On the video played Thursday during the continuation of Lane's preliminary examination, Lane was not seen describing what happened when he claims he was confronted by the carjackers.
Agent Hess told the court, Lane was outside of the car and away from that camera when described that encounter.
Prosecutors and FBI agents say there is a 45 minute gap that Lane cannot account for his whereabouts. That is when they believe he disposed of his daughter's body

She was TWO YEARS OLD, FFS!!!!! My own mother said that I wasn't fully potty-trained until I was four years old, and I wet the bed off and on until I was ten years old. I was beaten quite a few times, but I don't ever recall being beaten over wetting the bed...by my parents, anyway. Jury selection is slated to begin today in the Wayne County Circuit Court trial of D'Andre Lane, who is charged with felony murder and child abuse in the December disappearance of 2-year-old Bianca Jones.
Meanwhile, the girl's mother stands behind the father of seven and is holding out hope that her daughter is alive.
Lane faces mandatory life in prison if convicted in the case that relies on circumstantial evidence, including a cadaver-detecting FBI dog.
"The dog may be the star of the show in this case," said legal analyst Charlie Langton. "That makes it challenging for both sides."

"Historically there have been cases that have been charged where the victim's body has not been found," Maria Miller, a spokeswoman for Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy, said Monday. "Although the body of infant Bianca Jones has not yet been discovered, we have evidence in this homicide case that we will prove beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury."
Lane's attorney, Terry L. Johnson, countered that his client did "spank" Bianca, but there was no evidence of child abuse or murder since the girl's whereabouts are unknown.
"Mr. Lane is looking forward to getting a trial behind him so that we all can continue to search for his daughter," Johnson said.
Bianca's mother, Banika Jones, said she has "no faith whatsoever in this entire proceeding."
"I'm adamantly championing (Lane's) innocence. I do not believe he was in any way involved with the kidnapping of my daughter. He was a stay-at-home father, he's not a child abuser," Jones said Monday.
"I believe my daughter is alive, and is being held somewhere," Jones said.
The trial is expected to span several weeks and include about 40 witnesses for the prosecution and six for the defense.

that was from trial yesterday and they havent updated news on the sites yet today but at noon showed court today and he lied about what kind of car he was driving when car jacked and what colour

Unless pressed by prosecutors, Lyons seemed unable, or unwilling, to recall what she told investigators months ago about the early morning hours of December 2 when Bianca's cries woke her up. Lyons also described noises that sounded like "taps".
But when she was shown transcripts of her testimony from an earlier hearing, Lyons conceded that the crying was intense and the hits were harder and louder.

On the stand Thursday, Lyons also identified an 18-inch stick wrapped at one end with heavy duty tape as "the paddle" Lane used to discipline his children.
Lyons told the jury that Bianca's cries woke her up around 3:00 a.m. that December day, but she says didn't go check on the toddler because she didn't want to interfere with Lane disciplining his other children.
Bianca's mother is Banika Jones. And she was pregnant with Bianca at the same time Lyons was also carrying Lane's child.
Lyons told jurors that she learned of Banika's pregnancy when the two women ran into each other at a CVS store.
It was during Bianca's first extended stay with her father that prosecutors say Lane lost his temper and killed her.

A loving, committed parent would NOT beat a TWO-YEAR-OLD for having potty accidents. Why do all of these rocket scientists think that beating a baby is the magic key to making the baby able to use the potty correctly every time they need to pee or poop?Asked about the girl's relationship with the father, the mother said at the time: ‘I know he probably wants to see Bianca home as much as I do ... He's never been anything but loving and committed to her.'
And if he had seven kids with seven different women, some of whom were pregnant simultaneously, I don't think that commitment is his thing.

I wonder how much she cared about Bianca. Her child with him is the same age, and she's the one he chose to stay with. Some anger and resentment maybe?

her oldest or older daughter is the one that testified last year during the trial to see if he would stand trial

The trials resumed but nothing updated online yet I heard something to do with a briefcase found day after she was reported missing
But nobody has updated yet
