DURANT — A Durant man was hit with three counts of child sexual abuse following a police investigation into a domestic abuse incident.
Bryan Keith Brown, 41, was charged Thursday. He is accused of sexually abusing three children by touching them and/or allowing them to view pornography and exposing himself, court papers state.
Officers began investigating on June 2 after Brown’s wife disclosed that he had assaulted her at their residence in the 1300 block of West Locust Street. An affidavit by Sgt. Chris Marcy states that Brown was moving out and that his wife began packing his belongings.
Pornographic computer discs were found, which were turned over to police, the affidavit states.
Two juvenile girls were interviewed by a social worker, and according to the affidavit, it was disclosed that Brown fondled two girls. He also exposed himself to two of the children and showed them adult pornography, the affidavit states.
Marcy obtained a search warrant for the home on Wednesday and found pornographic video tapes in a garage loft that had been described by the victim, according to the affidavit.
