Steve Fleming grabs a kid with his Peanut Butter Parfait

Police arrested a 54-year old-man Wednesday after he tried to abduct a 4-year old boy from his mother at a Dairy Queen in Virginia Beach.

Police say a mother was standing in line at the oceanfront Dairy Queen on 16th Street around 9 p.m. with her son when Steve Fleming grabbed her son and tried to run away.

The child's mother chased Fleming and grabbed her child, trying to wrestle him from away.

She informed Fleming that she was the child's mother and to let go of her child. She was able to take her child back from Fleming and called 9-1-1.

While the child's mother was on the phone with 9-1-1, Fleming approached the family and tried to coax the boy from his family by stepping between the child and a family member, police said.

Fleming started to run away when he saw police responding to the scene, but was quickly arrested.

He has been charged with one count of attempted abduction and is being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Facility without bond.

Seriously, WTF?? The dude tried to take the kid AGAIN after Mom was on the phone with 911?

I'm tall and about as big around as a stick but my adrenaline would have been fucking pumping big time and this dude would have been kicked in the nuts and fucking stabbed with a spork or three.

Damn that scares the hell out of me as a mother. How fucking desperate was he that he tried not once but twice. If I had been in her shoes I think that I would have killed that fucker, or at the very least maimed him so as to leave lasting damage.
