The little girl is doing a lot of screaming. Does not want to go with (dad?). Talk between two female voices of daughter being taken from (mom?) for seven months. Since it's labeled "exchange", I'm assuming it relates to custody/visitation. Someone recorded it for proof of something. I didn't listen to the 20-minute one all the way... my ears started to bleed.

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...writethru.htmlIn December 2009, officers in Redmond cited Biryukova and her husband, Solomon Metalwala, for reckless endangerment after they acknowledged leaving Sky, then 3 months old, in their Cadillac sport-utility vehicle in a Target parking lot on a 27-degree day. A shopper who heard the baby crying called police, and a responding officer reported that the car felt cold.
Paged inside the store, the couple said they had left the baby in the car for about 20 minutes because they didn't want to wake him up.
The case was dismissed early this year after the pair agreed to a year of probation, 40 hours of community service and a 10-week parenting class, said Ian Goodhew, a spokesman for the King County Prosecutor's Office.
The couple had been together for 14 years, married since 2003 and separated in March 2010, court records show. In June 2010, the same month Metalwala filed for divorce, Biryukova, 30, filed for a protection order on behalf of herself and their two children.
She said Metalwala, 36, had a severe anger problem, was verbally abusive and that he had beat her for the first time on Christmas Day, just weeks after the incident at the Target parking lot. The reason was that she had allowed Sky to sleep later than expected, she said.
"He became furious like I have never seen him before, he grabbed me by my hair (in front of our 3 1/2 year old daughter), dragged me into our hallway, threw me down on the floor and then threw me against a decorative column we have in the entrance of our home," Biryukova wrote. "He continued to assault me with his feet - by kicking me and then he took out his car keys and continued to scratch me in any area he could."
The abuse escalated after that, with Solomon telling her to go live on the street and work as a prostitute, she said.
"The most, most recent have been his threats to kill me if I say anything against him or if in any way I proceed with action of seeking custody of our two small children," Biryukova added. "I live in constant fear for my life and my children's life. Please investigate and help me!"
He responded that she had mental health issues and that he feared for the safety of the children when they were in her care.
A man who answered the phone at King Street Kafe and Market, a shop Metalwala owns in Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood, referred calls to a Leslie Clay Terry III, a lawyer who represented the couple in the reckless endangerment case. Terry did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

http://www.ajc.com/news/nation-world...d-1219490.htmlPolice say Julia Biryukova (beer-yoo-KOH'-vah) reported that she left her 2-year-old son in her unlocked car after it ran out of gas Sunday morning in Bellevue, east of Seattle.
She told police that she and her 4-year-old daughter walked to a gas station a mile away. Biryukova reported that when she got back to the car an hour later, her son was gone.
The boy's father, Solomon Metalwala, told reporters Monday he doesn't understand why Biryukova would have left the boy, or why she wouldn't have walked to a nearby restaurant instead.

I think that what is happening is a parental exchange of Mylie and Sky. Mylie apparently doesn't want to go to her father's (?) home. The mom seems to be saying that "they" kept the little girl from her mother for seven months and the little girl is probably afraid to lose her mom again if she goes with them. (I have to say the noises she's making are pretty alarming.)
I can't determine if we're hearing social services doing the exchange, or some other agency like a court service. At any rate, Mylie doesn't want to go. There are some allegations going on, too. Praying. Wheedling. Begging. Mylie doesn't want to go with her daddy.

Maybe the reason for the recordings:The father of a missing Washington state toddler said Monday that his estranged wife's story about the case – that the boy disappeared from an unlocked car after she walked away for an hour to go get gas – doesn't add up.
"I don't understand why she would leave a little baby in the car," Solomon Metalwala told reporters at his lawyer's office. "The whole story is puzzling."
Julia Biryukova told investigators that her car ran out of gas Sunday morning in Bellevue, and that she left her 2-year-old son, Sky Metalwala, inside while she and her 4-year-old daughter walked to a gas station, police said. She said a friend picked her up at the gas station, and when they got back to the car, the boy was gone.
Court documents revealed that both Biryukova and Metalwala had been cited for reckless endangerment in 2009 after they acknowledged leaving Sky, then 3 months old, in their Cadillac sport-utility vehicle in a Target parking lot on a 27-degree day.
Documents also show that the couple had filed for protective orders against each other, with Biryukova saying her husband beat her and the children, and Metalwala saying she had mental health problems and invented the allegations...
The disappearance came during a bitter custody dispute. Metalwala's lawyer, Leslie Clay Terry III, said that a mandatory mediation session last Tuesday produced an agreement that would have allowed his client some visitation rights.
Investigators searched a 20-block area and even went door to door but found no sign of him. The FBI, King County Sheriff's Office and a King County helicopter were enlisted to help.
The Bellevue Police Department said both parents were cooperating, and Biryukova had consented to have her vehicle and home in nearby Redmond searched. Biryukova did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/1...n_1080847.htmlLast December, a social worker determined that there was a "preponderance of evidence" that Metalwala had struck his daughter hard enough to cause bruising, court records show. The social worker also said Sky had troubling bruises, but because the boy could not talk, it wasn't clear where he got them.

Jesus, all kinds of little nuggets coming out.

"I don't understand why she would leave a little baby in the car," Solomon Metalwala told reporters at his lawyer's of-fice. "The whole story is puzzling."
Court documents revealed that both Biryukova and Metalwala had been cited for reckless endangerment in 2009 after they acknowledged leaving Sky, then 3 months old, in their Cadillac sport-utility vehicle in a Target parking lot on a 27-degree day.
Documents also show that the couple had filed for protective orders against each other, with Biryukova saying her husband beat her and the children, and Metalwala saying she had mental health problems and invented the allegations.
Last December, a social worker determined that there was a "preponderance of evidence" that Metalwala had struck his daughter hard enough to cause bruising, court records show. The social worker also said Sky had troubling bruises, but because the boy could not talk, it wasn't clear where he got them.
The disappearance came during a bitter custody dispute. Metalwala's lawyer, Leslie Clay Terry III, said that a manda-tory mediation session last Tuesday produced an agreement that would have allowed his client some visitation rights.
"We're looking at it from all angles, at this point," said Bellevue Police Maj. Mike Johnson. "Missing person, abduction, foul play has not been ruled out."
In December 2009, officers in Redmond cited Biryukova and her husband, Solomon Metalwala, for reckless endanger-ment. A shopper who heard the baby crying in the SUV called police, and a responding officer reported that the car felt cold.
Paged inside the store, the couple said they had left the baby in the car for 15 to 20 minutes because they didn't want to wake him up. Surveillance video of the parking lot later proved it had actually been 55 minutes.
The case was dismissed early this year after the pair completed a year of probation, 40 hours of community service and a 10-week parenting class, said Ian Goodhew, a spokesman for the King County Prosecutor's Office.
The couple had been together for 14 years. He was 21 and she was a 15-year-old high school sophomore when they be-gan dating, according to one of her court declarations.
Her mother, Nadia Biryukova, wrote in a court declaration that they married in 2003 in her kitchen just before he was to be deported to Pakistan.
The couple separated in March 2010, court records show.
"He became furious like I have never seen him before, he grabbed me by my hair (in front of our 3½ year old daughter), dragged me into our hallway, threw me down on the floor and then threw me against a decorative column we have in the entrance of our home," Biryukova wrote. "He continued to assault me with his feet — by kicking me and then he took out his car keys and continued to scratch me in any area he could."
The abuse escalated after that, with Solomon telling her to go live on the street and work as a prostitute, she said.
"The most, most recent have been his threats to kill me if I say anything against him or if in any way I proceed with ac-tion of seeking custody of our two small children," Biryukova added. "I live in constant fear for my life and my children's life. Please investigate and help me!"
He responded that she had mental health problems and was involuntarily committed to a mental clinic in 2010. But ear-lier this year a social worker with state Child Protective Services reported that caregivers found her to be in good mental health and an appropriate caregiver for the children.
CPS received six referrals about the family from late 2009 to late 2010, state officials reported in court documents.

Boy vanished amid parents' bitter divorce
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...issing08m.htmlThe Sunday disappearance of 2-year-old Sky Elijah Metalwala came only four days after his parents endured 11 hours of mediation aimed at ending a bitter divorce in a compromise that awarded custody of the couple's two young children to their mother but allowed visits with their father.
The boy's father, Solomon Metalwala, said police also searched his Kirkland home.
Officer Carla Iafrate, spokeswoman for the Bellevue Police Department, said both parents are cooperating in the investigation.
"No arrests have been made at this time," she said. "All possibilities of what may have happened to the child are being investigated."
She said there are still "many unanswered questions."
Investigators are asking anyone who may have traveled along 112th Avenue Northeast, between Highway 520 and Northeast 24th Avenue Northeast, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday to call Bellevue police at 425-577-5656.
The couple began experiencing financial troubles around the time Sky was born in September 2009. They were hounded by bill collectors and faced foreclosure on a house and condominium, court records say.
Biryukova was committed to three mental-health facilities, the first time on her 29th birthday in March 2010, according to court records. But a psychologist's evaluation concluded three months later that she was not psychotic and suggested she agreed to be committed only "under spousal duress."
One psychologist who evaluated Biryukova wrote later that year that although she was dealing with "a severe form of obsessive compulsive disorder, I do not believe that interferes with her ability to be a compassionate, effective parent to her children."
According to court documents, Metalwala filed for divorce on June 4, 2010, and the proceedings have been bitter, punctuated by accusations on both sides. Both have filed for protective orders against each other, and each has had custody of the two children at times.
Biryukova accused her husband of being controlling and physically and emotionally abusive.
"The most, most recent have been his threats to kill me if I say anything against him or if in any way I proceed with action of seeking custody of our two small children," Biryukova wrote in court documents in June 2010. "I live in constant fear for my life and my children's life."
Metalwala denies the allegations of abuse and says Biryukova invented them to spite him and manipulate the divorce proceedings.
He claimed in court documents that she is mentally unstable and has obsessive compulsive disorder that prevents her from being able to keep food in the house or allow the children to sleep in their beds.
Court records also show that Child Protective Services (CPS) had investigated the couple.
Terry said the mandatory mediation in which the couple participated last week was intended to bring a close to the bitter divorce. Both parties had compromised, he said, and an agreement that granted custody to Biryukova but allowed visitation with Metalwala was signed by both.
"On Friday, she called and said she'd felt pressured and wanted to void it," Terry said.
Metalwala said he is praying that his son simply is being hidden somewhere and that he is safe.

The father of a missing Bellevue toddler took an hours-long polygraph test on Monday night, but the results were said to be inconclusive.
An attorney representing Solomon Metalwala said he believes the reason for the inconclusive results is his client's fatigue. Attorney Clay Terry said Metalwala is "exhausted" as he hadn't slept much since his son disappeared on Sunday. Metalwala will take another polygraph test on Tuesday to clear his name, Terry said. The above really worries me. She did say she went to get gas, and came back with no gas can. And how very odd that without any gas in the car the police had no problems starting it. If these arent serious red flags I dont know what is. And in regards to the fathers polygraph test being inconclusive that doesnt bother me so much, he is bound to be exhausted, confussed, stressed and worried to no end. But I would much rather think he followed her saw his chance to take the boy and the boy is safe somewhere. Other than thinking she got rid of the wee guy to either A) hurt the father or B) because she really didnt want the boy.Officials also said Monday that no gas can was found near the car despite the mother's account that she went to get gas after the car ran out of fuel. The car also started for police.

That's a thought, how much gas was there in the car when police got there and started it? I haven't seen any mention of that at all. But if she is saying the car actually stopped because it had zero gas in it, then it would have been still on zero when the police got there. Because surely, even if she had actually gone and got some gas (in the invisible can) then she would not have taken the time to put it in the car on her return 'cos she would have been all frantic and shit over the fact her son was gone.Officials also said Monday that no gas can was found near the car despite the mother's account that she went to get gas after the car ran out of fuel. The car also started for police.

From that link:
I think that explains the comment in the audio about withholding the kids for 7 months.Biryukova also said her husband threatened to take the kids out of the country if she tried to gain custody of Sky and Maile. At the time, the children were primarily living with Metalwala's mother.
Just about everyone believes the mom's story is bullshit. Forget all the "clues" of gas cans and such... the tale of leaving your kid because he was sleeping while you walk off for an hour DOES NOT make sense to anyone.
Why did this woman not have her cell phone? I know not everyone has them but this is not some poor welfare mom. If her phone was elsewhere (or dead), why did she walk by all those houses to get to the phone at the gas station? This was almost 9:00 in the morning, not the dead of night.Complicating matters is a prior incident at the Redmond Target store two years ago, where the parents left the same child, then just a baby, sleeping in his car seat as the two shopped. An onlooker called police. Sky was left alone for nearly an hour.
The boy's father admits it was a stupid mistake and can't imagine how his ex could have done it again.
“Why is Julia out here at 8:50 a.m., especially in Bellevue, she lives all the way in Redmond. She has done something. I don't know what she has done,” Solomon Metewala said.

I didn't listen to them in their entirety, but they seem like recordings by the mother to try and show that the father shouldn't have custody of the kids. The one from October had her talking to what sounds like her daughter and her saying she doesn't want to go to daddy. The November one sounds like someone who takes the kids to be picked up by the father. But according to the reports, he hasn't seen them since January. So I'm not sure. Very strange definitely.

Boy vanished amid parents' bitter divorce
The Sunday disappearance of 2-year-old Sky Elijah Metalwala came only four days after his parents endured 11 hours of mediation aimed at ending a bitter divorce in a compromise that awarded custody of the couple's two young children to their mother but allowed visits with their father.
Sky's mother, Julia Biryukova, said the toddler disappeared after she left him alone in her unlocked car in Bellevue on Sunday morning after she ran out of gas.
According to police, Biryukova said she walked with her 4-year-old daughter to a Chevron station about a mile away. She called a friend who picked her up before she returned to her car.
When they arrived at the silver Acura Integra more than an hour later, Sky was gone, police said.
Police said there was no sign of forced entry into the car nor was there a gas can or any indication of car trouble. Police said the car started right up.

This whole story stinks to high heaven.
The husband was abusive to the wife, she says. The little boy had bruises, which could explain (as @Robynne said) why he was fully clothed when the girl was in a swim suit at the pool.
And this.....
..... comes from the same husband she was married to when they were both brought up on charges of leaving the same little boy (at 3 months old) alone in the car?"I don't understand why she would leave a little baby in the car," Solomon Metalwala told reporters at his lawyer's of-fice. "The whole story is puzzling."
She either did something to get back at the soon to be ex and Sky was never in the car that day, or else he's done something himself (inconclusive lie detector test) and has threatened her if she reveals what happened, so they're BOTH in this coverup together.
Sorry..... my imagination running wild again.

Note: I don't really believe Sky is in the woods. But if he is, I'm sure he pretty quickly attracted the attention of a cougar (or some other predator, but cougars are most likely, in that area, to stalk and kill humans), and is already dead.
If he's not in the woods... I think he's still already dead, and his death was probably even crueler than a cougar mauling would have been.
I hope I'm wrong, of course. But it doesn't look good.

http://www.nwcn.com/news/washington/...133433438.htmlBellevue police say they suspect foul play in the disappearance of 2-year-old Bellevue boy Sky Metalwala.
"Given the limited amount of information we have, the fact that there's really no solid leads to follow up on in regard to where he might be. Absolutely, we suspect foul play," said Major Mike Johnson, Bellevue Police Department.
Johnson said police have not received any new clues in the past 24 hours. They do have a second polygraph test scheduled with the missing boy's father, Solomon Metalwala, Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, the boy's mother, Julie Biryukova, has declined to take a polygraph test.
[...]
"We don't even know if he was in the car," Johnson said. He said it was "highly unlikely, but possible" the boy could have gotten out of the car by himself, but the information "just didn't add up."
Sky's father took a polygraph test Monday night that came back inconclusive. His lawyer said Solomon was too tired to give an accurate result and would take another test later to clear his name.
[...]
Police on Monday searched the Redmond apartment where Biryukova lives with Sky and her 4-year-old daughter, including the building's dumpsters. They have not named Biryukova as a suspect, but they have expanded the radius of their search around the Redmond residence.
[...]
The North Towne Chevron, a little less than a mile from the scene, said the woman called a friend from the gas station to come get her.
Iafrate said at least one of the car doors was unlocked, and that the vehicle started when they tested it, but cautioned that that was possible for a car that has been sitting for some time.
[...]
Bellevue police would not comment on whether the parents' background was pertinent to this case, but said they are keeping all scenarios on the table.
"Right now we don't know. We can only go off what the mother told us," said Iafrate. "But we're going to search beyond that, and since we can't find the child right here in this area, we're going to be asking other questions."
Police would like to hear from anyone that may have travelled along 112th Ave N.E., between SR 520 and NE 24th Ave N.E., Sunday morning between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.

I may be repeating what other posters may have said but don't have time to go through the entire thread....so here goes. Have they questioned the lil 4 year old and asked if baby boy was indeed with them that morning? Perhaps she had already done something to him and plotted to "run out of gas" so that she can make up the disappearance?
