The fact is drunk drivers run red lights and stoned drivers stop at green ones.

Both of which cause problems for unimpaired drivers on the road. Using ANY substance that alters your perception or reaction time and then getting behind the wheel makes the driver an idiot. And if weed had no effect on your thinking and motor skills, I doubt many folks would be partaking.

Before that it was just a silly wacky weed that had little exposure. The government justified turning on Pot once alcohol was legal again, by propaganda movies like Reefer Madness. The rest is history, Oh Nancy Reagan fucked things up pretty bad by including it in her war on Drugs. And!>>>> lets not forget Betty Ford, in and out of Rehab.

Not very many people smoked marijuana until the 1960s, so to say that law-enforcement authorities made it illegal simply to justify their existence is stretching things a bit. They would have spent too much time and resources investigating a small group of negroes, jazz musicians and bohemian types. After prohibition, Elliot Ness moved to Ohio and eventually became the Director of Public Safety in Cleveland. I don't know that he ever spent much time thinking about marijuana.

I see your point @malq, but we're speaking of days gone by, times and politicians have changed. What's the purpose of keeping it illegal now? Particularly when there are proven therapeutic uses for it, in the medical world.

I thought William Randolph Hearst's pulpwood farming had something to do with it as well, and his journalistic nightmare pieces in the Hearst owned paper claiming all sorts of terrible things about marijuana. I know that's what got industrial hemp killed off in this country - Hearst made a TON on pulpwood paper mills after hemp fiber was outlawed.

I don't order nor will I ever order from Papa John's. The ones here where I am suck. And I agree.. the delivery driver needs an old fashioned wall-to-floor counseling session in my not so humble opinion...
Unless the customer is lying about not smoking in front of his daughter.

Pizza Hut is the worst! We have only one place around here that delivers. They have decent pizza (local - not a chain). Recently I was at friends' house and had Pizza Hut. I don't care that they don't deliver out my way. I can put ketchup om a biscuit with Ragu and make better.
