Deputies:Shelby Lewis Beats Up Mom Who Refused To Let Her Drive

NAPLES, Fla. -- A Florida teen is accused of beating up her own mother because she would not hand over the keys to her car.
Collier County Sheriff's say 18-year-old Shelby Lewis got into an argument with her mother about the car inside their Naples home on Wednesday.
Patricia Hecht, 50, said Lewis called her several names and then struck her to the left side of her face with an open hand.

Hecht told deputies she refused to let Lewis drive because her insurance had been canceled, and that led to the assault.
Lewis was taken to the Immokalee Jail and charged with misdemeanor battery.

I don't get it either. If I tried that shit with my mom I sure as fuck wouldn't REMEMBER doing it once I woke up in the hospital. That memory and probably my own name would have been knocked right of out my head. My mom is 68! (In my defense, though, she's still super active...)
