Is Pissing In A Mouth Degrading?

A city restaurant owner says a set of unique urinals are here to stay, despite a complaint that they are “degrading to women.”

Neal Seifeddine is co-owner of 02's Taphouse and Grill, which has three locations in the city.

At the pub's west-end location, a formal complaint has been filed by the Public Safety and Compliance Team about the urinals, which are shaped like a pair of red lips.

Seifeddine says the bar initially received a letter from a woman named Lily Le, who then filed the complaint with the city.

In the letter, she suggests the urinals resemble women's lips, which she said she found demeaning.

Lee could not be reached for comment.

But Seifeddine, who came into co-ownership in January, says not only will the urinals stay, but there are plans to install them at the pub's north location as well.

"The comments about them are all positive, this is the only negative response. Ladies are always asking to go in and take pictures," he said, adding that the urinals were meant to spark laughter and not controversy.

"We work very hard here and we never intended to offend anyone. We are out there to make people laugh, and so far it's worked."

He just can't understand how the complainant came to the conclusion that the lips were female.

"I just didn't think that. I just thought it was a mouth. Some customers thought it was the Rolling Stone lips, others thought it was lips like on the Dairy Queen commercials," he said. "There are other ways you can fight your cause, better ways."

There are a LOT of nasty bastards that would stand at the generic, white urinals and piss on the floor. This may prevent some of that.

I don't care for it but I wouldn't make a big fuss over it either.
I bet when men take a piss, they aren't thinking about pissing in a lady's mouth.

Drinking urine.....it isn't all that bad really. Sometimes it is necessary. There are occasions when it is appropriate. I mean.....if you pay the girl enough money...if she is willing or if you have her tied up and she doesn't speak any English.

I'm guessing there was a reason the lips were made bright red even if they are not specifically male or female. I'll bet a new uproar about them would start if they built one with a mustashe making it specifically a male urinal.

Women in the northern German town of Lüchow have expressed their dissatisfaction with the design of two urinals in the men's toilet of a museum dedicated to the Rolling Stones. They are shaped like red lips, similar to the legendary logo of the band, but they look more feminine, and they lack tongues.

Local activist Roda Armbruster wants the urinals removed. "That's discrimination against women," she told regional broadcaster NDR. "Why does it have to be a woman's mouth? If it had been based on the emblem of the Stones with the tongue, it would have been OK. But the tongue's been left out and they really looks like women's mouths."

Marianne Jönsson-Olm, the official in charge of women's issues in the Lüchow town administration, said: "An uproar has gone through the population -- around a dozen women came to me and complained."

The funny part is this was designed by a woman. If they got to sit on a set of balls like they were performing a reverse cowboy, we could care less. I guarantee it!
Sometimes I think humans are inherently designed to always complain about something.

German Women Jealous Of Urinal Design

I don't think that she's "jealous". lol....or maybe so.
I find it amusing. And I'm all for sitting on a set of balls so as long as I can piss properly and not have it dribble to the side---gosh, that is sound like way to much fun. :p

I'm an evil woman, and I think it's funny. I have a weird, sick sense of humor. There are other issues deserving of outrage and protest, hiring practices, unequal pay for equal work, sexual harassment, health care covering birth control and the right to choose. Let the German women do what they think is right; but here we need to focus on the issues. I wouldn't get too worked up over it; I'd just say, "yuck".

I was all ready to reply to the title "is pissing in a mouth degrading", not if you allow it, I wouldnt mind pissing in ball shaped toilet but thats just me, long as its not hairy. In this world you will find someone who will take offense to anything, hell some of those men pissing in the urinals may be imagining its mans lips with lipstick on, who knows.
