"2-day custody for accused in Tejas case

Panchkula The Central Bureau of Investigation got only two-day custody of four accused in the Tejas Gaba kidnapping case, even though it had asked for 14 days. Tejas, then an 8-year-old student of Delhi Public School, Panipat, was kidnapped from Pruthi Chowk, Model Town, Panipat, on December 12, 2008.
Satinder Malik, Pradeep Thakur, Ram Kumar, all arrested by Haryana police from Baljit Nagar, Panipat, and Rakesh, serving a sentence in Ambala jail, were produced today in the court. CBI arrested them and submitted that they needed to recover weapons and vehicle used in kidnapping and also the boy Tejas Gaba. It also submitted that the accused might be taken to other states to make the recovery and asked for 14-day remand. But the court of Additional Civil Judge Jaibir Singh granted remand for two days only. The judge also made sure that the CBI officials make the accused call their family members and inform about their arrests as per provisions of CrPC. All four are history sheeters and Rakesh, resident of Sonipat, was arrested on disclosure by Malik, Thakur and Kumar. The whereabouts of Tejas are yet to be ascertained by CBI.

Earlier, the CBI had arrested two people (Teja Singh Yadav and Karunesh Singh) on July 9, but they have not disclosed anything about the boy’s whereabouts. Both have applied for bail, which is set to come up for hearing on September 13.

From June 30 this year, the CBI received several telephone calls from different landline numbers, from Teja Singh Yadav and Karunesh Singh Chauhan, on the publicised mobile number, demanding ransom of Rs 1 crore for releasing Gaba.

“We are yet to establish the link between all those arrested,” said a CBI officer."

I literally have cried myself silly ........last night I couldn't even close my eyes without this precious childs face popping up in my mind....This case just haunts me...such a beautiful, sweet little boy...just snatched from his mother....I pray that even three years later that Tejas is found safe and returned to his family...and they fucking hang the bastards that are involved in his kidnapping...god only knows what this little boy has gone through...god...here come the tears...
