3 Scumbags brutally gang rape victim and she required surgery for her injuries.

NEW ALBANY, Ind. -- There is new information about an alleged rape that took place in New Albany last week. Three suspects are accused of raping a 25-year-old woman who says she was so badly attacked that she had to undergo surgery. "It's just a bad thing, you know, it's sad that something like that would happen," said neighbor Eric Thomas.

Three men are accused of doing something so heinous that the Floyd County prosecutor referred to the case as being "one of the more egregious cases we've had in terms of rape."

New Albany police said 27-year-old Derek Hendricks, 25-year-old Paul Price and 22-year-old Andrew Devore have been arrested and charged with rape.

They said the alleged attack happened last Friday at Hendricks' apartment in the University Woods Apartment Complex in New Albany.

"I don't really know the guy," said neighbor Gabe Wingfield. "I think it's a terrible thing."

According to an affidavit for probable cause, the 25-year-old victim told a detective with the New Albany Police Department she met the three suspects just prior to the assault at the Good Times Bar in New Albany.

The affidavit said a witness at the bar "saw three subjects he knows leaving the bar with the victim," and later he identified the three men as the suspects.

NewsChannel 32 spoke to the mother of Hendricks and Price. She said her sons are innocent and the acts were consensual.

But according to the affidavit, the victim "...was compelled by the imminent threat of deadly force" which resulted in serious bodily injuries -- injuries that required her to have surgery at Floyd Memorial Hospital.

While New Albany police continue to investigate the case, the suspects are being held at the Floyd County Jail on $500,000 bond.

I agree on that point!

I have always told my children that I will always love them, but that doesn't mean that I have to like the things that they do. And they also relize that no one is perfect and that I don't expect them to be, they have screwed up and have gotten into some trouble, but when it comes down to it they are the ones who have had to pay the price.

I have also told them, that if you are going to play you are going to pay. I have never bailed any of my kids out of jail, and it may sound mean but they know I won't. I have gone to visitation and I write letters, and also give them money for commissary.

What they have done is minor little things, but I do these things, because I don't ever want them to end up like the people that we deal with on here. Which I know that they will never be like that, but I want them to realize what this big old world is made of.

If my kids screw up I will be the first to admit it, they know that their momma will hurt you with the truth, rather then tell you a lie. This mother just needs to relize that her kids fucked up and really harmed someone, she needs to admit it and stop making people from Indiana look like fucking retards!

First off lets start off by saying this false rape accusations have skyrocketed since the 1970s thank you government. Second off before you all post any fucking comments and shit know this girl <edited out to protect alleged victim> never had fucking surgery she just wants fucking attention she has a mental illness this case is not over with. Third the mom never made a comment to wave 3 they added that for their own benefit. Fourth off the girl changed her story 5 times to the cops and they yet to give her a polygraph. Let me get this straight.

We're not supposed to judge three men who are alleged rapists. But it's perfectly okay for you to call a rape victim a whore who asked for it? Are you shitting me? You spouted some pretty horrible, even libelous things about the victim on a PUBLIC forum. And she has a lawyer. How stupid are you?

Even if she was a whore, it's irrelevant. She could still get raped. You are aware that once someone says "no", it's rape after that, right? And given this girl's injuries, she was brutalized. The victim in this case actually did have surgery for her injuries, so it's pretty clear that the medical testimony is going to back up the victim and not the rapists in this case.

I can think of three falsely reported rapes in the past thirty days. Thats just the ones I am aware of on my shift. You investigate every one as thoroughly as possible. The fake ones take up almost as much valuble time as the real ones. It is very hard to charge false reporting here. The DA's office doesn't like to prosecute them here.

Many times it's a cheating spouse who was caught and trying to claim it was an involuntary act. mental illness and a newer trend i'm starting to see is blackmail.

With that said there are many more instances where rape isn't reported than false reporting of rape. I would venture to say maybe 25% of rapes are reported.............

I worked in Assaults/Sex Crimes for four years. The number of false sexual assault reports was appalling. There was no typical profile. Some lied because they got caught cheating or not being home when they were supposed to be. some were stupid drunk (not to a high level of impairment) college students trying to convince themselves and their friends they weren't "that kind" of girl, some were mentally ill. The mentally ill ones were the ones that were repeat offenders. And some were just vindictive you-know-whats.

We only prosecuted the ones who named specific suspects. Most used the whole "I didn't get a good look at him..he was white/black and between 5'6" and 6' tall" generic description. Some of the guys were pretty lucky. I remember one lady who was mad because some guy she met in a chat room kept banging her but not buying her the stuff she wanted, so she said he raped her. Her story was pretty convincing, she had only met him once and he had raped her, blah blah blah. When we contacted him he showed up with a DVD of every encounter they had. Turns out his entire house was wired with video/audio surveillance because he was a freak who liked to watch, but in this case his freakiness saved him and blew her story out of the water. She admitted to it and was arrested.

Yes, the feminised prosecutors were there destroying the lives of the Duke 4 but they will not prosecute the false claimists or very rarely jail themselves.
