We don't know that she's dead. Police have gathered evidence that suggests something very wrong happened, but as of date, unless I'm wrong on this, she's missing, not dead as far as we know.

I live in CENTX but come from west TX border town. Trust me, coming from this Latina when I say I know the assholery of machismo, bullshit Latino men well. BUT, I've known my share of assholery white boy-men and a fair shake of black men too.
So what I call it is the "low-brow" type men, that don't matter what the skin color--it crosses all races.

I have stayed off this thread at the urging of family and friends who know my bad temper and don't want to bail me out of jail. Sylvie is dead. Assmeat killed her. He took their daughter and ran to a country which has no extradition treaty with the US. They have strong faith that either karma will get him or Hell awaits him. Pointe Coupee Parish sheriff’s deputies have identified the woman whose nude body was found floating Sunday in the Red River near its intersection with Old River.

Capt. Brett Robillard identified the woman as Cynthia Cox, 54, of Natchitoches.

Robillard said the identification was made Tuesday afternoon through fingerprints taken from the woman at a Lafayette forensics lab.

An autopsy on Monday was inconclusive in determining the cause of death, deputies said earlier.

After the woman was identified, a Pointe Coupee sheriff’s detective contacted law enforcement agencies along the river north of the Atchafalaya River, and the Natchitoches Police Department discovered the woman’s car parked beside the river, Robillard said.

The investigation was turned over to Natchitoches authorities, he said.

Sadly with her husband's purchase of several 5 gallon buckets and bags of Quickcrete it's entirely possible she will never be found. I irks me so much that when a victim's blood is found in a home and isn't enough to consider it fatal as with a bleed out, they can't move forward. Same thing happened with Susan Powell, there was blood found but not enough to assume death. There could be little blood with a murder using blunt force trauma to the head like with a baseball bat, but surely fatal without a lot of blood.
