A teenage mother in South Texas faces a capital murder charge today in the stabbing death of her infant daughter.

19-year-old Angelica Gutierrez was arrested today after initially telling police that her baby, 15-day-old Gabriella Corona, was snatched from her aunt's arms this morning during a robbery in broad daylight.

Dozens of officers locked down area elementary schools and cordoned off the area in search of Gabriella and the kidnapping suspect. About 20 minutes after Gutierrez's initial call, Gabriella's body was found hidden in some shrubs about a block from the location where officers first responded.

Police say they suspected the mother from the beginning.

Gutierrez, a Mexican national, is in the city jail tonight and is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow morning. A jail official said she did not yet have an attorney.

Looks like she's more worried about losing her friends while in prison than the sorrow of murdering her own child. Seriously though, good thing it happend in Texas. She's on the fastest train to hang um high town. Although at her young age it would be much more fulfilling if she could rot the rest of her days in AdSeg.
