IMPD Narcotics detectives seized 16oz of methamphetamine (worth $30,000), $1,900 in case and made three arrests. The suspect named Jose Martinez-Garcia was also wanted by the Federal authories for immigration violations. The IMPD Interdiction unit conducted a traffic stop in conjunction with MSE narcotics detectives. Martinez was arrested after an ounce of methamphetamine was located in his van. A Search warrant was then obtained for Martinez-Garcia’s residence where additional illegal drugs were located. Gabriel-Huerta was also arrested and charged with dealing in cocaine or narcotic and possesson of cocaine or narcotic.

Cory Smits, 29, is seen in this booking photo from the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department. Smits was found guilty July 7 on his fifth offense of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. It seems that this person probably has a lot of bad ideas when intoxicated
