CLAY CO, Ind. (WTHI) - A Clay County was man taken to jail after driving through flood barricades.
Officials say Michael Trusty went around barricades on 246. Water was still rushing over the road, and his vehicle stalled.
Trusty had four kids inside the vehicle.
Clay county Sheriff Mike Heaton says Trusty put the kids lives in danger..by driving through the water.
Trusty was taken to jail on charges of child neglect and endangerment including other charges for driving through the barricade.
