Tate Madler Convicted Sexual Predator Banned From Parks,Arrested Hanging Around Parks

After a La Grange resident reported that a convicted sexual predator was loitering at Sedgewick Park, La Grange police conducted an investigation and arrested Western Springs resident Tate H. Madler on Tuesday.

Madler, 42, of the 4000 block of Lawn Avenue, was arrested at his home after being identified, questioned and taken into custody by La Grange police. He was charged with being a sexual predator in a public park, a Class A misdemeanor.

As a registered sexual predator, Madler is prohibited from being in public parks. Police reported he was seen at Sedgewick Park, located at East Avenue and 47th Street, on several occasions. Police reported there was no indication he attempted to make contact with any children or adults while at the park.

Madler was arrested by Western Springs Police in October 2005 and convicted of two counts of child pornography.

La Grange investigator Ken Uher said he encourages La Grange residents who see something or someone suspicious to call and report to police immediately, just as the resident did in this case.

“This is their community, and they understand what’s right and wrong,” Uhler said. “Our patrol is excellent and we follow through on every call.”

What a scarey looking motherfucker! Gives me the chills. Glad somebody noticed his ass.

Back when my kids were younger I lived in a more urban trailer park. I looked up sex offenders and found there were a lot in my neighborhood. I then wrote down all the addresses and drove around figuring out which trailers were the sick fucks. To my surprise I found that one of them was living right across from the park/ bus stop! His front window faced right out to playground perfectly. This ass had a prefect view and that had me very worried. I first complained to the management who allowed this to happen with no results. So then I called the parole office and asked to speak with his p.o.. With in a week that sick fuck was forced to move. He was only moved to the far back of the trailer park but to me anything was better than across from the playground. I also drove my kids around and showed them the trailers they were never to go by or talk to the owners. I showed them pictures of all the creeps too. I know this may of scared some kids but my kids felt safer having that kind of info on hand.
