JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville mother said her life has been turned upside down since last Thursday, when her husband took off with their 20-month-old toddler.
As Charmaine Devoe talked with Channel 4, her 5-year-old, Jordan, wiped away the tears from his mother's eyes.
ďI havenít slept. Iím rocking my son to sleep at night because heís looking for his sister and nobody knows where she is. I donít know where she is. I just want her to come home,Ē said Charmaine Devoe.
Her husband, 37-year-old Nathan Devoe, became the center of a SWAT standoff that lasted for hours on Thursday night when police tried to serve an injunction on him to leave their 20-month-old baby in his wife's custody.
Police said they believe Nathan Devoe left the home before SWAT arrived at scene and he's been on the run ever since.
ďJust bring her home. Please, please bring her home to her family. Even if you donít come home, bring her home,Ē Charmaine Devoe said.
Police ask that anyone with any information about Nathan Devoeís whereabouts call 904-630-0500 or Crimestoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
