Nathan Devoe is on the run with 20 month old daughter *found*

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville mother said her life has been turned upside down since last Thursday, when her husband took off with their 20-month-old toddler.

As Charmaine Devoe talked with Channel 4, her 5-year-old, Jordan, wiped away the tears from his mother's eyes.

“I haven’t slept. I’m rocking my son to sleep at night because he’s looking for his sister and nobody knows where she is. I don’t know where she is. I just want her to come home,” said Charmaine Devoe.

Her husband, 37-year-old Nathan Devoe, became the center of a SWAT standoff that lasted for hours on Thursday night when police tried to serve an injunction on him to leave their 20-month-old baby in his wife's custody.

Police said they believe Nathan Devoe left the home before SWAT arrived at scene and he's been on the run ever since.

“Just bring her home. Please, please bring her home to her family. Even if you don’t come home, bring her home,” Charmaine Devoe said.

Despite Nathan Devoe's criminal past, Jefferson said this case did not meet the criteria for an amber alert.

The biggest reason? Police and Natalie's mom don't believe the girl is in any imminent danger. She believes her husband truly loves their daughter.

I say Bullshit! I feel that they need to be under the assumption that the child is in danger! I pray that they find her and that she is unharmed, but we know the statistics. Lady your husband may "love" your daughter, but here in the real world, people who "love" their children kill them everday!

I agree 100%. Many people claim to love the people they murder. If he was sane and rational he wouldn't be on the run for Christ sake. Hello....cops called in the SWAT team for a reason...they think he might be unstable, so why the fuck would they assume he is completely rational when it comes to his baby? :diablo:
