Donation Jar Thief Hit By A Bus

The incident happened about 12:10 p.m. in the 800 block of Third Avenue. Police say the bus driver tried to stop, but couldn’t avoid hitting the man. No passengers on the bus were hurt.
“There were quarters everywhere, all over the street,” police spokesman Mark Jamieson said.
The donation jar for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society had about $15 in change, Jamieson said.
The bus driver wasn’t ticketed, though police say they expect to do extensive follow-up investigation and collision reconstruction.
The suspect was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Police did not have additional information about the suspect Thursday night.
The donation container, which investigators described as a jar, was returned to the business after the scene was cleared.

newstarshipsmell :Sorry, DG, but the Laerma nuts only grow on trees on the world of Dezoris in the Algol star system so unless you have a spaceship...

The really sad part is that this person could have made that small bit of change doing a little bit of work rather than stealing from others!

I may be cold hearted but I don't feel bad for this jackass. If you can steal from a person who is dying, then you are a waste of space IMO! It is a horrible feeling to work hard for something you want and then one day it is just gone. Thieves really bother me because it is not impossible to go out and work for what you want.
