A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a baby boy was stabbed.

Police said the two-month-old was found at a house in Alfred Road, in the Handsworth area of Birmingham, at around 10.45pm last night.

He had received several stab wounds and is in hospital where his condition is described as life-threatening, a spokesman for West Midlands Police said.

Officers arrested a 37-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and he is in custody helping with police inquiries.

A force spokesman said: 'Police are not looking for anybody else in connection with this incident.

I could stab someone, I could also beat the living shit out of someone. Baby beaters and child molesters really put me in the mood.

But to hurt a baby, I can't grasp how someone can do that. I realize that they can be a handful, having 4 children myself, but they are children. And babies are so tiny and adorable and... they are just babies. Stabbing a baby takes baby beating to a whole new level, you have got to be a seriously deranged fuck to do something like that to an innocent child. People who could do that have no chance of rehabilitation. I say kill them now before they can hurt another child. I will gladly volunteer my services. Nothing would give me more pleasure.
