Steven Wade Bigham Faces 107 Sexually-Related Felonies Against Children

Man faces 107 counts in sex case

A Eufaula man jailed in lieu of $1 million bond was charged Friday with 107 sexually-related felonies against children.

Steven Wade Bigham, 43, faces:

• 24 counts of first-degree rape of a child under 14.

• 24 counts of oral sodomy with a child under 16.

• 24 counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child under 16.

• 24 counts of indecent exposure.

• Eight counts of first-degree rape by instrumentation with a child under 14.

• One count of cruelty to animals.

• One count of intimidation of a witness.

• One count of oral sodomy with a child under 16 (4 years old).

McIntosh County Assistant District Attorney Crieg Rittenhouse said anyone found guilty of those charges could be sentenced up to life without parole.

One of the children said Bigham made threats against her if she “told on him,” according to a court document filed by McIntosh County Sheriff’s Investigator Tonya French.

The affidavit says Bigham threatened “he would kill me and throw my body at the bottom of a well and pour lye on me and it would eat my body and no one would be able to find me.”

The court document said the child said Bigham had killed one of her cats and took his gun outside and said he was going to kill Snowball (her dog) and pointed his gun at the dog. She told French she got between Bigham and Snowball so he could not shoot the dog.

The document states the child said Bigham made her have sex with him at least two times a week and sometimes five times a week for the past three years in McIntosh County.

Other statements involved oral sodomy and that Bigham put “stuff” in the child in the past.

“An affidavit to be filed will state a number of first-degree rape charges and oral sodomy,” Rittenhouse said. “Bigham also will face cruelty to animals. The victim alleged the acts occurred when she was from age 5 to 12.”

The animal cruelty counts stem from Bigham poisoning the girl’s cat and threatening to cut her dog, Rittenhouse said.

Machel Thompson, 34, made an initial appearance Monday on a complaint of failing to protect the child. The girl said she told Thompson about a year ago she was being touched, Rittenhouse said.

“Thompson failed to take steps to protect her,” Rittenhouse said.

Please drop them into a deep well, alive and wait a few days... then after all hope is lost to them, open it back up, let them think they're safe... and pour lye on them....

Steven's reign of terror on kids go beyond the Oklahoma lines. He has 2 kids in KCKS that he molested too. In fact he was still living with them when he started molesting and raping the little girl referred to in the article. My kids are just now starting to talk about the crap he did to them when I was at work or school.

Both him and the girlfriend deserve to endure the pain and trauma that all these kids have been through. My kids with him are so scared of him that they are home bodies, even at age 15 and 16. They go nowhere because of him. Hopefully, now they can get some peace. The other 2 kids in the OK case are his kids with the girlfriend and they are only 4 and 5.

I wonder what else he has done and got away with? But, I do love the million dollar bond! Mommy can't get him out of this one like she has everything else!!!!!! Can't wait to see his face when he is convicted and sentenced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The mother,,of the girl who made the accusations got into trouble in school that day,,,,was going to be expelled,,this was her way of getting back at parents for the discipline,,that she knew would be coming,,,grounding,,

If there was documentation of an enema that could be mistaken as sodomy, they would have found that and withheld the charge from the investigation.
