WINTERSVILLE, Ohio -- Police are searching for a Jefferson County man who is accused of duct-taping his father and stealing his car.
Wintersville police said John Zaleski, 24, returned home just after midnight Wednesday and awoke his father.
According to an incident report, the two men were headed to the kitchen when Zaleski grabbed his father from behind and duct-taped his hands and mouth.
While his father was lying on the kitchen floor, police said Zaleski fled with his father's 2006 Chevrolet HHR crossover vehicle.
The victim managed to call 911 while still bound in duct tape, officials said.
Zaleski is described as white, 5-feet tall, weighing 205 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
He is facing abduction and robbery charges.
