Angry 'RedDawn', Beer, 4 year olds and Ellen Mitchell trippin'.....

Deputies found Ellen Mitchell passed out...

SCOTT DEPOT, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A mother passed out and a child sitting in a cold car in beer soaked clothes, that is what deputies say they found when they came along a parked car in Putnam County.

Deputies say Ellen Mitchell was high on a synthetic mood enhancer called "Red Dawn" when she parked her car along a road in Scott Depot on March 16th.

When deputies found her she was curled up in the front seat and slurring her words, according to the criminal complaint.

Investigators put her in the cruiser where she passed out.

According to the complaint, deputies found her four year-old son in the back seat.

Mitchell has been charged with child neglect.
It was 43 degrees outside and the child did not have a coat on, his seat belt was half on and his shoes were on backwards, according to the complaint.

I had not heard of 'RedDawn' either, I googled it, here is what I found:

(Part of the above "ad" says "DO NOT DRINK RED DAWN and DRIVE)

Poor Little Fella, I hope you stay where you are safe!!

Not a single adult with common sense!! (Except for the deputies, of course)
When deputies arrived, they found Mitchell, another woman and a man. All three were allegedly intoxicated.

Mitchell was allegedly curled in an upright fetal position in the front seat. She mumbled and slurred her words, and hit her head on the steering wheel several times as deputies tried to speak with her, the complaint states.

The man told deputies that Mitchell was going through withdrawal from the mood enhancer, which is often advertised as an energy drink and sold in specialty shops.
