A Greenville woman has been arrested in the death of her 3-year-old son after police said they found the child's burned body in an oven.

Police Chief Freddie Cannon says 24-year-old Terrie A. Robinson is charged with murder in her son's death.

Washington County Coroner Methel Johnson says police found Tristan Robinson's body inside the oven of his mother's apartment shortly after midnight Wednesday.

Johnson says the child had been burned but an autopsy was ordered to determine if the child died before or after being placed in the oven.

WXVT-TV, which first reported the arrest, said a little girl found in the home was placed in the care of the Department of Human Services.

Am I the only person that sees a fucked up story like this and looks at the date, hoping it's nothing recent because I'd really like to think things are getting better, not worse?

I can't imagine the mom would last for long in jail and/or prison if she roasted that poor baby alive. I hope someone dishes out some serious fucking pain on that bitch - if she's responsible of course. Cause I mean what if they were playing and the little girl did it, not deliberately, I'd hope.

I was thinking about this and I can see a child crawling into a cold oven but not a hot one. And...there is no way she could have got in an turned on the oven. Ya know?

That's what I was thinking too, CO. That the injury to his skull could have been caused by him thrashing around in there trying to get out. It makes me cold all over to even type that, but I have this horrific image in my mind of just that scenario. If he was alive in that oven, she needs to have the same done to her. I am really hoping also he was already dead before she cooked him.

I only know of one other story like this one and that one leads me to believe he was dead because in the case 4-year-old angela palmer everyone heard screaming and crazy shit coming out the apartment.
