MCSO seeks missing 10-year-old Kingman girl

KINGMAN - An Attempt to Locate has been issued by the Mohave County Sheriff's Office for a 10-year-old not seen since Saturday.

Family members have been distributing flyers across town looking for Trinity Gilbert-Flores. Trinity was last seen around 1 p.m. Saturday by neighbors who had been checking in on her throughout the day at her home in the area of John L Avenue and Bond Street.

Trinity's father, Michael Flores, said he came home around 6 p.m. and found that Trinity was gone.

He said the family's three dogs are very protective and would have made a commotion had someone come into their yard.

Trinity was wearing a white T-shirt with blue writing, jeans, pink and gray sneakers and a dark blue zip-up sweater without a hood that has light blue lines that runs from the shoulders down to the wrists. She has dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Trinity's whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (928) 753-0753 or the family at (928) 279-1522.

Trinity's grandmother, Cecelia Flores, said her granddaughter may be to scared to call home and said Trinity could call her at home at (928) 692-3182, no questions asked.

Soooo... the 10 yr old little girl was left home alone with neighbors just checking in on her once in a while? Why wasn't she just over at the neighbors being watched? Or the neighbor sitting with her at her house?
And obviously she was not being checked on "throughout the day" since she was last seen at 1pm and the Dad got home at 6!!!! 5 hours is a long time....anything could have happened. I hope she is found safe. :(

Authorities say a 10-year-old Kingman girl missing since Saturday has been found safe at a neighbor's home.

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office says 10-year-old Trinity Gilbert-Flores was located Tuesday afternoon. It's unclear why she was at the neighbor's home, but authorities don't believe the girl was being held against her will.

Authorities say the girl was being taken to a Kingman hospital for an examination, but appeared to be OK.

Her father reported her missing about 6 p.m. Saturday. That led to a door-to-door search by the Sheriff's Office and other agencies in the area of the girl's home.

Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Trish Carter says the girl once left home in 2009 to be with her mother who at the time was living in another state.
