[/I] A Cache County elementary school teacher has been charged with child sex abuse.

33-year-old Scott Rogers taught at Thomas Edison Charter School South in Nibley. He faces two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and has now been suspended with one week of school left.

Officials at his school were shocked to learn of the allegations. "Complete and total surprise," said Principal Eldon Budge. "He was well liked and this could not have been guessed by anyone."

A letter sent home to parents Friday explains the investigation and Rogers' status with the school. It does not say whether the victim was a student at Thomas Edison. But after talking with almost all of the parents of Rogers' second-grade class, Budge says he's confident those kids weren't involved. "A lot of what has come out of this is more reassurance than verification of a major concern," said Budge.

Rogers had already resigned as of the end of this school year. "He indicated that he was pursuing other interests," Budge said.

Funny story...

Throughout my young child years I LOVED horror movies. Even the corny ones. On Friday nights at 11:30 p.m. in Cleveland was a show called the Big Chuck and Lil' John show. I watched the show almost from the inception in 1979. The show was comprised of original sketch comedy and skits and horror movies, the funny thing is that some were great horror movies others were absoluteley awful!

At a rally in downtown Cleveland many years later as an adult, I saw Lil' John walk up and stand next to me. Out of pure shock and excitement I exhibited the most asinine reaction possible! I patted the top of his head, which was verrrry low. Ok, I know - I suck!

Ok well, now to the funny part. As punishment I guess, for some fucked up reason I spent the next 6 months having sexual dreams about lil' john!! Which is even more funny considering my sexuality. :eyes: The best part is, lol, these were like smokin' hot dreams!!
