Emailed Videos Lead To Inez Lambert's Child Sex Arrest

A 24-year-old Portland woman is accused of sexually abusing a 1-year-old child she babysat, videotaping the activity and sending the videos by e-mail to her boyfriend serving in the U.S. Marine Corps overseas.

Inez Carmaneesh Mon Lambert, who police say worked as a day-care provider for the Lloyd Center LA Fitness on Northeast Weidler Street, was arraigned Wednesday morning on a 21-count felony indictment.

On Jan. 8, a friend of Lambert's reported the abuse to the child abuse tipline after Lambert was at her house using her laptop, and forgot to log out of her e-mail account. The friend looked through Lambert's e-mails and opened three videos that captured the sexual abuse, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Multnomah County Circuit Court.

The friend forwarded the videos to investigators. Portland child abuse Detective John Russell interviewed Lambert, who admitted videotaping the activity at her Northeast Portland home and sending them to her boyfriend "for his sexual pleasure," the affidavit said.

She's charged with seven counts each of first-degree sodomy, first-degree sex abuse and using a child in the display of sexually-explicit conduct and is being held on $5.25 million bail.

Her boyfriend, Corey H. McADoo, 31, was arrested in Afghanistan where he's serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. The Naval Criminal Investigative Service, the federal law enforcement agency charged with investigating felony-level offenses affecting the Navy and Marine Corps, made the arrest. He's expected to be returned to the United States later this month on possession of child pornography allegations.

"Detectives are concerned about the possibility of additional victims outside of her employment," said Lt. Kelli Sheffer, Portland police spokeswoman. "Anyone who may have contracted or paid Lambert for private child care and has concerns is asked to contact police."

Official sources say the Naval Criminal Investigative Service - NCIS - has taken 31-year-old Staff Sergeant Corey H. McAdoo into custody in Afghanistan, and he will be extradited back to the United States next week on a military flight. McAdoo is expected to be charged with possession of child pornography.

Sources close to the investigation say McAdoo watched the abuse live via Skype and in videos that were reportedly sent to him by e-mail. NCIS confiscated his computer and other evidence and has turned the items over to the FBI for forensic analysis, according to official sources.

A U.S. Marine whose girlfriend allegedly emailed him videos of her sexually abusing a 1-year-old pleaded not guilty this afternoon in federal court in Portland to child-pornography charges.

Corey H. McAdoo, 31, of Vancouver, Wash. was stationed in Afghanistan when he allegedly received the videos last October and November, authorities said. I know it is a Constitutional Right, and you better believe they could have a video a cop took of me with my hand in the cookie jar and I would still make them prove it in court, but damn. . .
