Playing "Rape Game" Is "Normal" To Stephanie Edwards

Yavapai County deputies arrest a woman from Mayer accused of playing "sexual-based games" with two young teens.

Stephanie Edwards is accused of "simulating" sex acts on two boys, ages 13 and 14.

Deputies said the 35-year-old admitted to them that they were taking part in what she called a "rape game” -- and even demonstrated some of the movements to investigators.

YCSO deputies were contacted by school officials last October regarding sexual allegations involving two teenagers, the release said. The two boys, one 13 and the other 14, told deputies in an interview that “Stephanie” had played sexually based games with them.

Deputies were then able identify the suspect and locate her home at a trailer park in Mayer, AZ.

According to the release, Edwards admitted to investigators that she had sexual contact with the boys and called her actions “normal”. Edwards also said that it was the 13-year-old who started one of the games.

My boyfriend and I were talking about the topic of molesters the other day. We both were wondering if they never matured. You know like at 13 you think other 13 year olds are cute but as you get older the people you like are suppose to get older too. But we both decided that can't explain it either because of all the baby rapers out there.

I can never understand what would attract a grown woman to a child.. I look at pictures of the boys my kids hang out with and I think they all look retarded with their hair all overgrown and sideways in their eyes.. I could never find them attractive.


This kid is 18 but has that freaking hair cut. Maybe I am old but it just makes me want to chase him with a pair of scissors and chop his bangs!

Probably is normal for her if she had the same things done to her.
I imagine the "rape" is just like a real rape except the "victim" isn't fighting too hard or screaming too loud.

Actually if you are molested (depending on many factors I'm sure) you do tend to stay at that age. It depends on the individual, circumstances, level of abuse but I know survivors who still think like a pre-pubescent child but must make adult decisions & it's very frustrating for them. Baby rapers are in a class of their own....

That being said, Mayer is a small town almost 2 hrs north of Phoenix, my grandparents retired there. I looked up the RSO for their zip & Mayer has A LOT. I don't know why there's so many offenders in Mayer, AZ!
