This is really sad. It really makes me wonder what happened to the 13 yr old to produce this behavior. So sad!

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A 19-year-old is stabbed multiple times and police believe a 13-year-old foster child did it. A two-year-old boy was also cut on the leg in the attack.

It happened Friday morning on the 6000 block of East 43rd. Metro officers were called out to the house at 8:12 a.m.

The foster mom, Gloria Jacobs, said she was watching TV with the 13-year-old boy. At some point he got up and left the room. Police said when he came back five minutes later he was naked and told his foster mom he just killed Anastasyia Jacobs, the 19-year-old in the house.

"Before the step mom could react, Anastasyia came in the room. She had been stabbed multiple times. She said, 'look at what he did to me. I was sleeping'," said Sgt. Matt Mount of the Indianapolis Metro Police Department.

Police said the teen used a kitchen knife in the attack. He was taken to juvenile detention and faces charges of attempted murder and criminal recklessness.

Anastasyia and her two-year-old son were taken to Wishard Hospital. Both are in stable condition at this time.

The foster mom told officers she couldn't believe the young boy who had lived with them for just five months would do something like that.

Police said the 13-year-old has been in the foster care system since he was five years old.
