I can understand her being angered about her child being hit by a teacher; but to turn it into a "lottery windfall" by pulling the race card is indespicable!! I give her props from trying to get the police and DSS involved but the language she uses such as calling the teacher:

Damn if I'm not sick of every controversy turning into a racist incident. Would she have sued if a black teacher had slapped her kid? I doubt it. Slapping a kid is way out of line, no matter the race; but the assault on the boy is totally lost in her rant on racism.

If anyone ever slapped one of my kids I would throw a nuclear holocaust hissy fit, but looking for monetary awards wouldn't even be in my mind. I know racism is still alive and sick in our society, but goddamn! Not every black-white incident is motivated by it. Some people are just mean, some can't or won't control their tempers, and a lot shouldn't be in a profession dealing with kids. If she wants the teacher fired, I think that's a natural reaction; but money?

She should put her energy into her son; helping him to understand how and why that happened, what part he may have played in the escalation...not that it was his fault, the teacher was solely at fault, she was the adult. Kids are kids, black, white, brown...whatever color, they can be stubborn, argumentative, disrespectful and defiant; this could be a good "teaching moment" (I hate that term) on when to step down, how to defuse angry people and, most of all, when to shut up and say "yes ma'am".

There are some serious flaws in her argument that she owns her son, that he is her property, implied in that is that she then has the right to treat him as she sees fit. I thought that this type of thing had been abolished years ago. A child is not property, but is held by his/her parents in safekeeping until he/she is able to fend for themselves.

I also take exception to her copyrighting the names of her child and herself, reminds me of Cindy Anthony and Caylee's name. Why would you do that if you only wanted to right the wrong of being slapped by a teacher. Teacher was WRONG, this mama is WRONG too, and she needs to STFU and go away.

Saying that her son is her property is the most outrageous thing in this whole manifesto of ignorance. Mama saying that he is her property does not make him more valuable in the eyes of the law. That is what makes humans legally diffferent from animals, what do you think that a court would say if the Teacher had slapped a dog? A dog is considered property by law.
